Luxury abounds in this magnificent Semi-Oceanfront home! This spacious home is beautiful in both design and décor. It will delight every member of your group. Enjoy the private swimming pool and 7 person hot tub or relax in the tower for some quiet time reading. With multiple decks the ocean views are spectacular! Enjoy some family time in the home theater room with a big screen TV or play some billiards! There is something for everyone at the "Sea Shellter".

8 CATVs and 2 have Sound bars (8 WiFi Enabled Flat Screen TV's w/Streaming Capability). The Private pool is 16x30. Other amenities include a glass elevator, 2 microwaves, 3 refrigerators, 2 gas fireplaces, garage, book and DVD library, 4th floor tower room, fully equipped wet bar, 4 adult bikes and 2 kids bikes, WiFi with Internet access, Wii game console, card table/chairs and game table top, beach cart, 4 beach chairs, beach umbrellas, pool area patio, deck access to all master bedrooms and sun deck. 4 free pier passes to the popular nearby OBX Fishing pier. 150 yards to the beach access. Our Last Full Family Vacation: 26 years at OBX

This vacation included family from 78 years old (in wheelchair)to our great grandson of 2 months & every age inbetween.The home is beautiful and furnished wiith everything & anything you could want. The location is the best, short walk to beach & beautiful views. The pool area was perfect for our assorted ages & one in a wheelchair. We enjoyed many family dinners & lots of seafood so the big table was perfect. I don't normally do negative but I think owners need to know, the floors in kitchen & bathrooms were very dirty. our feet were black just moving in (we always remove shoes inside) so my daughter mopped them all. The large oven did not work. The small one did but it was too small for sheet pans. The bedroom with the crib had dirty sheets on the bed, either caked, dried blood or feces. We changed it. We also found 3 credit cards on the floor beside the bed and turned them in to the rental company. I know you can't do anything about the driveway but I think you need to note on your pictures how steep it is. Not much parking so we had to have 2 trucks park on the main road the whole week. While we loved the home & layout & pool, we would not rent again because of the driveway. Thank you for the elevator, he is a disabled veteran & was able to be a part of everything.

Friend’s Trip

We had a wonderful time visiting NC. We came from all over to US for a friend’s vacation and it was fantastic! Our house accommodated all of us and the kitchen was awesome to prepare meals in together. It was a great trip and a great house.

Loved it!

Our only complaint would be with the elevator! Was not working, being in our 60’s all the steps with luggage and groceries trucking up 4 flights of stairs was a killer. @ lest they could have docked some money! Or open the pool 🤷‍♀️ just annoying that this happened. Washer wouldn’t go through a spin cycle. That being said we absolutely loved it! The dinner table sat all of us ❤️ Thanks Harriet

Great spot for large group

Lots of “oh wows, this is so great” Easy beach access and large comfy rooms. Having two dishwashers and fridges was soo convenient - 4 masters was perfect for us Huge negative was the elevator not working (when we initially reserved was not mentioned) Also the stove has quirky issues All in all a lovely home, our vaca experience was spot on

Lovely Home!

We loved our stay at Sea Shelter! Great location, very clean, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. Beautiful pool, views, and great common areas. We would definitely choose this house again!

WOW!

This house was exactly what we were looking for. There were 13 of us and nobody was cramped for space. Each couple and individual family had there own bathroom and bedroom. Short walk to the beach. We spent a lot of time in the house due to the weather and never once felt crowded. Would recommended this house 10 out of 10 times.

Amazing Home, Wonderful Experience

This house was immaculate and well kept. Our group of 12 (7 adults and 5 kids) fit perfectly. We had great communication between property management as well when we needed the pool checked out. I've already told friends and family about this property and the next time we're in OBX, we will definitely stay here.

Perfect House and Location

Sunrise and sunset views available right at the topmost deck. Plenty of space for everyone; you can find a quiet space, even with lots of people. Beach is close by and having pool in the property makes it easier to get in the water. Bottom floor pool table and den with wet bar...just perfect.

Perfect location and good fundamentals, but the property was not well maintained.

Our first time to the Outer Banks and it was a great vacation. We were happy we chose South Nags Head, as it was still close to everything, but out of the mainstream by a mile or so. The property is good fundamentally (meaning the number of bedrooms, layout, large kitchen, etc.). But, we were very disappointed with the poor property maintenance. The exterior was heavily weathered and almost all of the decking in poor condition. We had numerous splinters and ended up wearing sandals where we have not at other properties. Nothing appeared to have been repainted in years and all metal surfaces were rusted (garage door, bolts, nails, etc.) The driveway (also not pictured online) is very steep and most cars scraped going up and down it. Pool was nice, but also had some broken tiles that we would have expected to be fixed for the weekly price of this property rental. Overall, no question we will return to Nags Head, but we would likely not return to this property unless it undergoes a major renovation.
