Anchor's Aweigh is a lovely home situated in the highly sought-after and family-friendly community of Nags Head Acres. Enjoy the peace and seclusion of this residential soundside neighborhood while still being within walking or biking distance to shopping, dining and best of all - the beach! After a day of fun in the sun, come home and gather in the open-concept great room with hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. A sliding door connects the space to a charming screened porch that opens up onto an expansive sun deck. This outdoor oasis includes a hot tub for soaking away the day and a grill for cookouts. The entire backyard is enclosed with privacy fencing and features a barefoot-friendly lawn perfect for kids, pets and yard games.

When you're not dining out or cooking out, prepare meals in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen. A peninsula with bar seating overlooks the living area so the chef in your group can still socialize while cooking. Sit everyone down together in the formal dining room with a table for eight and a full bar where happy hour can start anytime! The primary suite is generously sized and features soaring ceilings and an ensuite bath. Three additional bedrooms will comfortably accommodate family and friends. Upstairs, a massive rec room provides plenty of bonus space and can serve as an additional living area. Between the pool table, foosball table and ping pong table, there are a variety of options for friendly competition and indoor entertainment.

Anchor's Aweigh is centrally located at Milepost 10.5 in Nags Head. Use the Adams Lane pedestrian crosswalk to safely make your way to the oceanside of town. The Admirals Street public access is just 600 yards from the house, but also provides free parking for guests who prefer to drive. You'll also find The Shoppes at Milepost 10.5, which include a grocery store, coffee shop, and take-out dining.

Can’t stay an entire week? Anchor's Aweigh is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

Everything was perfect, the host advised of recent updates to the amenities and the house was absolutely beautiful and perfect! Will definitely be coming back if the opportunity allows!!!

Very clean with open floor plan!

We loved the open floor plan, plenty of room with a large dining room. We also loved the game room with the pool table during the rainy nights. Only thing that needed attention was the back yard, it looked like it was not cut for awhile. I would definitely stay here again. It is also walking distance to the beach.

Our family had an amazing time! The house was just as described and close to the beach. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced backyard! We would definitely look to rent again.

Very clean and lovely, open floorplan home!

This home is very clean, open floorplan, nice setup, plenty of kitchen supplies. A few things that need attention are: -Dw utensil basket has broken sections -garbage bags are small & thin and dont fit, need beter -first bed down the hall is very hard, nobody could sleep on it -need basics like spices, oil, salt & pepper, alum foil, -need DW soap (only had 1 packet) -The shower in Master is hard to get in and out of with the wide jetted tub. -timer on oven doesn’t beep when done -would be nicer to have garbage disposal -The AC went out one day and after getting in touch with the owner it was taken care of. Had to reset power, but a bit of a difficult system to coordinate up and downstairs themostats just right. Overall we loved and enjoyed this home to spend with my family! Game room and Hot tub outside was perfect! The large dining table was nice to have for dinners, games and puzzle.

Immaculate!

The cleanest rental we have ever stayed in! It was incredibly clean both inside and out! It was a great house with well equipped kitchen and large dining room. We loved the game room, hot tub, and convenient location.
