"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was a great location, close to the lovely community of Caltavuturo. The host provided very useful recommendations about the property, dining, shopping and other activities. The shops in town were great, including the butcher, the bakery and the pasticceria, not to mention the chef and team at AlterEgo restaurant. The villa was well appointed, it offered a number of areas within and outside the property to relax and enjoy the views and experience....

"The apartment was modern, large and very well equipped. Angelo and his family were very gracious and always available to help. They even brought over some of the best pastries I have ever tasted! I can't say enough nice things about my stay, except I forgot to mention the views of the valley and the Mediterranean Sea were fabulous."

"Very cheerful, clean , well-appointed space. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. If driving, heads up to putting "via Athnea" as part of the address, as the street is not one you can drive on, it is a long staircase street. The apt. is situated at the top of the stairs , so be prepared to do a lot of stairs."

"Rafael was a dream of a host. He arranged a driver, suggested places to go and restaurants to try. He was easily reachable and made an effort to ensure I was comfortable. I travelled alone and felt safe the entire stay."

"The stay was good, once we got in , the property manager was supposed to meet us but was not available this lead to multiple messages and problems however these were all resolved on the check in day and we had a great time."

Took some determination to find it but so glad I did. Would appreciate a larger espresso pot- such a small problem in an almost perfect world."

In näherer Umgebung gibt es malerische Bergdörfer, schön zu besichtigen und gut zum Einkaufen. Also ein perfekter Ort um unseren Wanderurlaub im traumhaften Parco delle Madonie zu genießen."

"La maison est très agréable cuisine spacieuse piscine de bonne taille jardin très propre très bien entretenu le propriétaire est assez réceptif, seul bémol, le prix de location des draps et des serviettes qui augmente nettement le prix de la location. C’est dommage ça pourrait être compris dans le prix ou être moins onéreux. 20% en plus du prix du séjour pour cela, c’est trop."

"The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...

"In der Wohnung konnten nur die beiden Schlafzimmer mit der Aircondition erwärmt werden. Ansonsten war die Wohnung ausgekühlt. Der Vermieter sollte diese Wohnung nur in der warmen Jahreszeit vermieten. Die Nähe zum Tal der Tempel ist angenehmt. Einen direkten Zugang zu Fuß zum Meer konnten wir nicht finden. Das Haus und die Ausstattung der Wohnung entsprechen nicht mehr ganz dem heutigen Standard. Wir hatten auf dieser Reise schönere Ferienwohnungen zum gleichen Preis."

"Beautiful property but many millipedes everywhere, water off several times, dogs barking every night, nosy owner who came by daily and we had to pay for electricity used for time there. We have rented many times from HomeAway but never was charged for electricity. We did get deposit refunded the day we left minus charge for electricity. Besides the above we did enjoy our stay there."

"Eine schöne geräumige Wohnung, in der man alles findet, was man für ein paar Tage braucht. Supermarkt, guter Bäcker etc. findet sich alles in 10 min zu Fuß. Zum Charme trägt sicherlich bei, dass die frühere Besitzerin mit Bildern und Andenken und so immer noch sehr präsent ist. Sehr nett und hilfsbereit sind die Gastgeber. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die Straße vor dem Haus. Eng und man muss entweder rückwärts rein fahren oder eben rückwärts wieder raus."
