We had a great stay at this property. The apt is in a new building and very clean. Very nicely appointed with a wrap around balcony. Also the location is close to the center. The beds are very confortable and the furnishing and cabinetry modern and new. The air conditioner worked great and was very welcome on a very hot day in Cluj. The host was great and very responsive. He even met with us to explain the underground parking garage, who has an interesting car elevator. The garage is a bit tight for large cars but manageable and we were happy to have an onsite parking as there is a parking spots shortage in the area. Overall we were really happy with our stay and we wished we had more days to enjoy the apartment!

Outdated, not clean, no modern amenities.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Platinia. Overall, we were very pleased with our time here and would gladly recommend it. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices. You could order eggs made to your preference alongside bacon, and they even made us crepes one day even though it wasn't on the menu, which was a lovely touch! Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed. It had two TVs, which was perfect for relaxing on the sofa and watching the World Cup. The balcony was also great a wonderful spot to sit in the sun and unwind. The beds were large and comfortable, and the housekeeping throughout our stay was top-notch. Location wise, the hotel is just a short Uber ride from the city center. If you are driving, parking is super convenient: you get free access to the parking garage. Just take a ticket from the machine when you first arrive, give it to the hotel reception to register your license plate, and after that, you can drive in and out seamlessly for the rest of your stay. The only slight downside was the gym/spa facilities. You receive one voucher per stay, after which it costs €35. We were not informed that it was only one voucher per stay, so on our first visit, we only used the gym and planned to do the spa the next day. When we showed up the following day, we had to pay extra. Had we known beforehand, we would have combined the gym and spa into a single visit. Tip for future guests: Make sure you use both the gym and spa on the same day!
