"The room was spotless and staff extremely courteous. The floors in the common areas —stone and carpets were very dirty, so a good shampoo or replacement of the carpeting is in order. The muck in the corners of the entranceway, hallways and bar was particularly problematic. The staff was amazing, as was the service and food!!"

"This hotel is conveniently positioned halfway between the Wimbledon and South Wimbledon train stations. Good restaurant for breakfast or dinner. We have stayed multiples times and like it. Has a new feel to decor but my only reservation is the carpets need cleaning throughout, especially in the stairwells. "

"We didn't dine here but the menu looked good. The bar had a great selection and the drinks were good. There is a bus stop at the end of the street so easy to get around. We loved our room. It was very spacious. If you have troubles with stairs be sure to ask for a ground floor room as there isn't an elevator. One of the reasons we booked here is because it said there was a pool, but the pool wasn't open and the staff was clueless about it. Kept saying maybe tomorrow."
