Harbour in autumn...
Gothenburg harbour, seen from the Guest Harbour at "Lilla Bommen". The tall ship "Viking" is permanently anchored here, and serves as a hotel now. The oddly looking house is called "The Lipstick" (Läppstiftet) - guess why...! There is a lookout point at the top there, where you can get "a tremendous view over Gothenburg, the harbour, and the archipelago" Quote from arrivalguides.com - a sight I didn´t even know about until just now - but where there´s a lot of good information to be found in English, so do check it out! In the background you can see parts of "Götaälvsbron", which is connecting the center of Gothenburg to the island "Hisingen" where the city continues. The Opera is just to the left (but not in the photo), and just a bit further to the right side of this picture you find "Östra Nordstan".
