  • Absolutely the best location in Mountain View, steps from Downtown! Situated near all the entertainment, nightlife & attractions this vibrant city has to offer. This beautifully furnished modern home is just minutes from the Caltrain & light rail, Google, Shoreline Lake, Stanford, Menlo Park, NASA Ames Center & more! Step outside for a stroll and explore local and international cuisine, wonderful farmers market and shopping! Perfect for family or friends, you will love this Bay Area getaway!

    NOTE: prices for Nov 4-7 have been reduced while exterior painting takes place during business hours.

    Recently upgraded and professionally furnished with the modern guest in mind, this private four bedroom home includes a complete kitchen with modern appliances, including stove, oven, refrigerator and microwave. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with crisp new linens, pillows and bed coverings.

    Downstairs, you have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Upstairs, you have two bedrooms: a very spacious master bedroom with a walk-in closet and beautiful bathroom (with a great shower and bath tub for well deserved relaxation after a full day of sightseeing or work). The second bedroom upstairs has its own bathroom as well.

    Spacious living room with comfy sofa and seating areas. Access to the luxury pool, free street parking, free high-speed WiFi and private access!

    Guests have full access and complete privacy inside the home and may enjoy full use of outdoor amenities as well. Instructions for access, check-in, checkout and directions to the home are provided in the house manual on vrbo. When checking out, please be sure all windows and doors are locked prior to your departure.

Great home base for a long weekend visiting college kids with grandparents! Plenty of room for two seniors, ourselves, and both of our college age kids, with open layout common spaces to gather and and still each have spaces of our own. Home as described, refurbished comfortably. We did not take advantage of the pool (it was raining and we had other plans), but appreciated the close proximity to downtown Mountain View with several good restaurants and so cute shops. Janice was also very responsive in communication.

Roomy, very nice and quiet place

The place was very nice and clean. Quite roomy. The master bedroom and bathroom were very big. The place is behind another house on the lot, so it was a very quiet place

Sweet Rental

We were in town for a Gymnastics Meet at Stanford. 3 moms with 4 teenage boys stayed at this house and it fit all our needs. Very comfy and very safe!

Very nice house

Property manager was very responsive. Great location (~15 mins walk to downtown). Plenty of street parking. Big house with plenty of rooms. Nice place to hang out as a group.

Mountain view 2024

This is a very nice property. Living area is nice and comfortable. Kitchen is amply supplied with plates and silverware. Only used 2 rooms 1 upstairs,and 1downstairs. Upstairswas comfortable and a nice room/ bath/ shower, etc. Enjoyed our visit and this home and would recommend wreturn.

Great location and stay

We were in town for a football game and this was a great location to stay. There was many shops, stores and restaurants nearby. The bar districts were not far either. The host was very helpful and proactive with instructions / tips. Highly recommended!!

Perfect for large group

We had 8 family members including 2yr and 8yr old children that flew into town from out of state for a memorial service in nearby Los Altos. This lovely house accommodated our group wonderfully. We put the young fam and littles in the primary bedroom, with the portable crib that was provided in the large walking closet. Everything was spotless and beds and couches comfortable. Great location within walking distance to Castro Street. Highly recommend!

Pretty good, but needs updates & some TLC

Overall this place was nice. It was spacious, bright, and pretty clean. The location in MV was decent as well, as it was within walking distance to downtown and overall felt safe, despite being in an area with more apartments rather than like-houses. But the house is old, and there were a few little details that left us scratching our heads: When we got there, a downstairs bedroom window was open 6-8 inches, which made us a little uncomfortable. We checked and double checked the house for intruders and animals. Closing that window was also very difficult, as the hinge was no longer secure, so the crank didn't work at all. A handful of the kitchen cabinet doors were not fully secured in their hinges either, so it felt like the doors were going to come off every time you opened them up. The dishwasher is pretty old and not in good condition. One of the kids in our party found a nudie DVD in the living room, which was awkward. While it was nice to have three full bathrooms, a handful of us chose to use only the downstairs shower, as the upstairs shower situations were odd for one reason or another- shabby shower heads; a used fabric shower curtain liner with discoloration at the bottom. Despite these things, we still felt like the place was nice enough for 3.5/4 stars- it mostly just needs some sprucing & care.

Family friendly and Great Location

Nicely furnished and spacious living area for our family reunion, we had everything we needed for a weekend in Mountain View. Great location too.
