Welcome to the McCloud vacation rental home on Mt. Shasta a fully furnished family vacation home that can comfortably accommodate 10+ guests.



Each bedroom has unique custom milled decorative wood accents, granite counters, high-end ceiling lighting and ceiling fans. Each bed, including roll-a-ways have Egyptian cotton sheets, down or contour pillows, down blanket and duvet covers.



Garage, parking pad and parking for additional cars in front of house (not on grass) and behind garage.



This Mt. Shasta vacation rental home serves as a mountain retreat for discerning families bound for the unspoiled beauty of Northern California’s Shasta Cascade region.

The entire home has been fully remodeled and every detail has been thoughtfully chosen based on highest quality and ambience. Careful attention has been paid to every detail creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere with elegant furnishings. The home is one of the finest Mt. Shasta area vacation rental cabin homes in the region.



When you stay at the McCloud Vacation Home you, your family and your guests will have access to the entire home and a fully fenced yard.



3 bedroom, 3 full baths, free Wi-Fi, fully equipped and extra large kitchen, all linens and blankets provided, heated bathroom floor, granite counters, covered parking, year-round outdoor propane grill and much more! 2 dog max, $100 fee per dog.



Within minutes of the McCloud Vacation Home you will be on the Mt. Shasta Ski & Board Park slopes, cross-country skiing at the Mt. Shasta Nordic Center, hiking the Pacific Coast Trail and other beautiful mountain and river trails, swimming in the awe-inspiring McCloud River Falls, fly-fishing the world-class McCloud River or ice fishing alpine lakes and exploring the Castle Crags Wilderness Area.



Located on the southern slopes of majestic Mt. Shasta just minutes from The Mt. Shasta Ski & Board Park and The Mt. Shasta Nordic Center, The McCloud Vacation Home is easily accessible from the San Francisco and Sacramento markets to the south and from Portland and the greater Pacific Northwest to the north. The McCloud Vacation Home is the exact halfway point and centrally located between San Francisco and Portland.

Lovely House

We had a wonderful stay in McCloud! The house was well stocked with kitchen equipment and is very comfortable to cook in. The placement of the bedrooms provides plenty of privacy. Despite being there during an extreme heat wave we were able to keep the temperature of the house very comfortable by following the directions provided. Many scenic spots were easily accessible. We spent most of our time in lakes.

Clean, quiet, and so peaceful!

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home this past weekend! It was very clean, lots of space, and a cozy wood burning stove to keep us warm ☺️ I wish we could have had a more extended stay but I know where I’ll be the next time I go to the Mt Shasta area!

Sweet location to Mt. Shasta

This place was perfect for our ski trip to Mt. Shasta. It under 20 min to the hill. The house was fully stocked even with an instant pot. The three bathroom was a plus with two family’s. We had plenty of room for all of us. We will most definitely stay here again. Abril

Cozy home for families

The house is cozy and clean. The owner was responsive. We never got the WiFi to work but not for lack of trying by the owner. The beds were comfortable. Overall, a nice place to stay in McCloud.

High expectations…neighbors don’t like this being a VRBO

We had high expectations for paying a premium price especially during the off season. It was close to our event. There was plenty of wood for the wood fireplace. But…The property needs maintenance: the lock box sticks, tiles missing in ‘Master’ bath, door on second downstairs bath doesn’t fully open (warped floor), light in closet non-functional, oven broiler didn’t work, all of the door locks are installed upside down, fence boards falling off side yard, neighbors blocked alley access the entire weekend, broken glass behind garage… Other than that, a great place to sleep and have coffee in the morning.

Second Stay

This was our second stay at this house. We enjoyed ourselves both in the summer and in the winter. There is plenty of room for three families. The house was clean for both visits. We had 7 adults and 2 teens and plenty of room. We hope to stay there again.

Cozy and convenient

We loved the coziness and location of this home. All of these houses are older which we love but this one has updates in great ways, such as newer showers, WiFi, good water pressure and comfortable beds and bedding.

Lovely place to stay!

We went to McCloud to ski at Mt. Shasta Ski Park. The home was lovely with comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and really everything to make the stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Getaway

The property was just right for our needs: lots of comfortable beds, large kitchen with a table to accommodate all of us, fenced back yard, a park down the street. We certainly enjoyed our time there.

Great spot near Mt Shasta

Really lovely family home for our holiday ski weekend. Our first time to Mt Shasta and McCloud and Loved the area with historic downtown. We hiked to the various falls on the McCloud river and well worth it!

The facilities and location were perfect for our needs. The house is close to a park, has a fenced back yard, has two living areas (one for adults and one for kids), and has a kitchen and table that accommodated our group of ten. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

Easy access to hiking. Bunk beds and a nearby playground make this a great place for families with kids. Kitchen was well stocked.
