This is the ultimate place to relax, meditate and enjoy nature at its best. There are some wonderful walks nearby, however a word of caution, don't try to drive unless you have an AWD or 4WD as the roads are gravelly and full of ruts."

"From the moment we pulled up we knew this was a special place, with an amazing view over the valley and kangaroos to greet us. I watched a possum & baby at night and lots of bird life and lizards around.The house was set up beautifully with everything we could want. Plenty of room for 8 adults in the bedrooms, loungeroom, indoor & outdoor dining. Linen, towels, pillows, etc. all good quality. Kitchen well equipped. "Exactly what we needed, and really wish we'd had a whole week. It was peaceful, comfortable, with everything you'd need. We didn't realise there was even coffee to try the espresso machine! Next time... Brought my parents here as we'd stayed at the old Barrington Guest House when I was a kid. Still a beautiful area. We did the Blue Gum Track, and a whole lot of bird-watching, even seeing lyrebirds for the first time. Dungog is worth a visit - a small community-focused town. Hopefully we'll be...

"We stayed at the Retreat for a family wedding , we had 5 adults and still had room for more. The rumpus room with pool table and table tennis table was a huge bonus and we were the envy of others that stayed there. The house was great and we did not need anything else to make our stay better, we were warned to bring everything with us. All the wildlife around was wonderful as well, reminded us that we live in Australia. It was a shame that we could not fully go on the long bush walks on...

"Treetops was the perfect retreat for our family of four. Set high amongst the trees, the birdlife brought a sense of endless entertainment and peaceful tranquility. The cabin is cosy and tastefully furnished with functional kitchen and great outdoor area with bbq. More than suited our needs. Host is fantastic with clear directions and suggested activities.
