Summary:

Take a cold plunge when you get home from a day at the beach! This beautifully renovated 3 bed/ 2 bath Mount Pleasant townhouse just 5 min drive to Sullivan's Island’s beach, 10 minutes to Downtown Charleston, and Isle of Palms. The relaxing outdoor oasis offers a wrap-around privacy fence, outdoor shower + cold plunge, large farm-style table, TV, gas grill, corn hole boards, and bike rack with 6 bikes. Perfect for large families, groups of friends, or as a work-away retreat!



The Space:

Newly renovated 1400sqft open concept townhouse with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The backyard is our favorite with an outdoor shower, cold plunge, 10 person dining table, cozy seating area for cocktails, artificial turf area for morning yoga or corn hole with friends, and even a 50" TV. The 7' privacy fence and large evergreen trees provide plenty of privacy. Inside features an airy, beachy~boho vibe with 12ft ceilings in the living areas and beautiful kitchen featuring walnut countertops and a handmade tile backsplash. Enjoy high-speed WiFi and TVs in every room. All the beds are firm but cozy memory foam mattresses. The first bedroom sleeps up to 3, with a queen bed and twin trundle. Pile the kids (or friends) in the 2nd bedroom which sleeps up to 4 with a king on bottom, twin on top bunk bed, and a pullout twin trundle. The master bedroom offers a spacious king bed and ensuite full bath with roomy shower. For guest convenience, we provide coffee, bath and beach towels, bed linens, paper towels, toilet paper, and soaps.



Guest Access:

There is parking for 2 cars directly in front of the unit. Please park in the designate spots in front of signage. If you have additional vehicles please contact your host. The area is extremely walkable with bars, restaurants and grocery stores within a mile, not to mention all the places accessible within a 10 minute bike ride on the awesome bikes provided with this rental!



The Neighborhood:

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant this property is conveniently located near everything Mt. Pleasant has to offer including shops, amazing restaurants and great nightlife. You can take a short walk or bike ride to Shem Creek where you can kayak, paddle board or enjoy the sunset. This property is also located close to the bridge that takes you right Downtown and is 15 minutes from Sullivan’s Island.

This is a self-check-in property and guests will be provided a door code prior to check-in. Guests must sign a liability waiver prior to using or being provided the bike lock code.

We loved it. Great quiet neighborhood, not too far from things to do but far enough for some peace and quiet. We loved taking the bikes to Trader Joe's and Shem Creek. The place was clean and very comfortable and cozy. Hosts were responsive. Everything was as pictured and as described.

Great experience

Wonderful Stay in Mt. Pleasant

This was a great home to stay for a vacation getaway. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. A wonderful safe neighborhood and close to everything you could imagine. Restaurants, sites, shopping, and beaches all near by. My wife and I have stayed in many VRBOs and know when your host cares about their guests and provides the little things that make vacations special. Don't pass up on this one, if available.

Charleston Race Week - Crew housing

I housed myself and crew at David's lovely home. As I had my sailboat docked at Patriots Pt, the location of the home was ideal. The house had a nice floor plan and outdoor space. The kitchen was well supplied, as we did quite a bit of cooking for ourselves. When we're next back for Race Week, I'll be sure to look for the house again.

Great Access to Everything

It was cute, clean, child and dog friendly! Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels, even for the beach! Extra pillows, blankets, paper towels, and toilet paper. Nice yard area with outdoor seating and corn hole boards. Worked perfectly for a long weekend wedding. Close to stores and restaurants!

Lovely home & beautiful backyard !

We loved our time at this cute home . The home is very clean and organized and had everything we needed . Our favorite part of the house was the beautiful backyard and covered patio area with a big dining table . We spent every night out there enjoying dinner and the pretty landscaping and lights . The location is perfect ! A short drive to the beaches and downtown Charleston . The neighborhood is quiet and we loved the bikes . We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets at Shem Creek ! Will definitely come back . Great communication with hosts .

Nice little spot in a great location!

We booked this property based upon previous great reviews, and location. I will say, location is great since it is near so many great restaurants and playgrounds (we have kids). There is no smoke and mirrors, what you see is what you will get. The ONLY downside is that we felt the property was not cleaned well before our stay. We noticed tape on the walls (probably from a party with balloons, etc.) When we wiped the floor on the first day, the paper towel was really brown. I’m sure the property was vacuumed but was definitely not mopped, and with having kids that was a concern for us.

Excellent stay

We were a group of 2 couples with 2 small dogs and David’s place was awesome! An excellent outdoor space with big dining table and nice seating area was a fun hangout spot. The open concept interior was nice and roomy and the beds were super comfortable. And best of all, it was very clean!! David was quick and helpful with all communications. Great place!!

Great home with comfy beds and the living space was very comfy. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Loved the location walked to dinner 3 nights including Shem Creek. Very well provisioned for cooking in as well.

Christmas in Mount Pleasant

Our family of four stayed here over the Christmas holiday and this rental exceeded our expectations. The unit is spacious, nicely furnished, clean and well equipped. The outside space with a TV and sitting area was frequently utilized. Also, the bicycles were a big plus as we rode them often to Shem Creek and Pitt Street bridge. Isle of Palms and Sullivans island were a short car ride away. David was very accommodating and eager to help if necessary. Would love to rent this again next visit to Charleston. What a special city especially the Mount Pleasant area.

Great Time

This property is exactly as described if not better. It’s in a fantastic location, with lots of restaurants/shopping nearby. We felt very safe which is something super important to me and is often tricky when going to a new place. This was our first trip to Charleston and we’ll definitely be back. Would love to stay at this home again in the future.
