Sarah's Coastal Cottage--Near Shem Creek, Sullivan's Island, and Charleston!

  • Located in a true Southern neighborhood with palmetto trees and live oaks, this charming one-level brick home is perfect for a family getaway to the beach, exploring the amazing history of Charleston, or enjoying the charm of Mt. Pleasant. The waterfront, marshes, and beach are only a short bike ride away (bikes are available to use!). The home accommodates up to 6 adults and 2 children, with off-street parking for two vehicles.

    This lovely 4 bedroom (3 + private FROG room upstairs) ranch-style brick home has been completely upgraded in the last few years, and the space is perfectly suited for 6 adults or a family (sleeps 8 total). Spend time in the morning with a fresh cup of coffee on the patio or stretched out with the paper on the over-sized sofa in the living room. Sullivan's Island, downtown Charleston, or Mt. Pleasant's Shem Creek area are all just minutes away!

    Our home is a permitted short-term rental through the City of Mount Pleasant. Our permit number is ST260028 and our business license number is BL-24-019230.

We enjoyed staying at Harborgate shores for girls week, location was great, lots of good restaurants around and close to historic Charleston. The house was clean and served our needs.

Comfortable and Convenient

Comfortable house, slept great. Had everything we needed. Convenient to everything especially area hotels where other family/friends were staying and close to venue where our son was getting married. Would stay here again for sure.

Great value just outside the city

The location and value proposition of this property are hard to beat. Just a short drive to all the spots without the price of the downtown properties. Ours was a golf trip, and this property was centrally located with amenities close by.

Nice Location. One level open concept.

Overall the house location, layout was great. The cleanliness needs improvement which I will share with owner so she can make adjustments for future guests. Would stay at location again if in the area.

The property is in a nice, safe, and quiet neighborhood about 15-20 minutes from downtown Charleston. It is very well kept, clean and definitely has everything we need! I would definitely stay at this place if we were in town again.

Great Home Away From Home!

It was a comfortable and cozy home away from home. Great location. Close to Charleston. Close to the airport. Close to the beach. Great local dining options. Shem Creek just a few miles down the street. We will definitely recommend to others, and would gladly stay again on our next trip!

Very comfortable & clean!

We stayed while attending a couple of days at the Charleston Open. It was a great location in a very quiet neighborhood. The property was well maintained and the host (Sarah) was very responsive. We had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Would definitely recommend as well as stay there again.

Fishing weekend

This property suited our needs well, for a family fishing weekend, with the boat. There was room in the driveway for vehicle and trailer, which was one of our main reasons for choosing it. The location was perfect for everything related to the stay, and to boat ramps, etc.

Perfect for a Charleston Getaway!

We had a great time in Charleston and really enjoyed Sarah’s cozy cottage. Everything was very clean, neat, and comfy. Additionally, the owner was very responsive with a question that I had. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a baseball tournament and this house checked all the boxes. Lots of space, very clean, and owner very quick to respond to any questions we had. Location was perfect for quick access to beach and great places to eat…highly recommend!!

Wonderful stay!! perfect location!

The location of the property was absolutely perfect. Just minutes from everything we wanted to do except for the Cypress Gardens. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and had everything we needed to live comfortably for a week away from home. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 five stars! We will definitely be staying again our next trip to Charleston/Mt pleasant area
