Private Home Near Beaches and Downtown Charleston! Pet friendly! Sleeps 10

This home is located in one of the most coveted locations in the Charleston area - South Mount Pleasant. This laid back one story ranch has four bedrooms and two baths. Three of the bedrooms have brand new beds and the fourth bedroom has a large children's suite which features two sets of bunk beds for the youngsters. This home has a large private back yard with a propane grill; and it is pet friendly.
Located just a short two miles from beautiful Sullivan's Island, ten minutes from Isle of Palms, and fifteen minutes to historic Downtown Charleston; the location could not be better. Within a five minute drive you will find grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and shopping. The kitchen has an eat in breakfast table that seats 4, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The living room has multiple couches, a large TV, books, and is great for lounging after a day at the beach or downtown Charleston; the attached dinning table seats 6.

2022 updates: NEW BEDS! New stainless steel gas grill. New dryer.
2023 updates: Fresh interior paint job, new living room furniture (new couch, love seat, swivel chair) as well as a new breakfast table in the kitchen. Slip covers were installed over all living room furniture for protection.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used so depending on the length of your stay and number of guests, you may need to buy additional supplies. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide starter bathroom essentials (hand soap, body wash/shampoo), two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the kitchen sink, two trash bags, laundry detergent, and dish washer detergent. We also provide all bed linens and leave one towel/hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.
Parking: The driveway can accommodate 2-3 vehicles, on street parking is not allowed.

We enjoyed our stay here, the location is pretty central to dog-friendly beaches and Charleston (10 mins). Our small dog enjoyed having a fully fenced yard and quiet neighborhood.

This property is in a fabulous location close to everything! The beaches are minutes away, restaurants and stores are right down the road. The house was clean and spacious as described. It was nice to have the fenced backyard for the dogs to run in and play as well!

Excellent home and location
We loved our stay! This is the absolute perfect location with convenience to everything in mount pleasant and short, easy drives to downtown Charleston and Sullivan's Island. The house was great with more than enough room. We loved the fenced in backyard for our dog! The only hiccup we had was some issue with the internet, but that was very minor! I would 100% return!

We enjoyed a long weekend for a girls getaway. The house is in a great location. It is within walking distance to coffee, restaurants and a grocery stores. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house is conveniently located near Charleston but in a residential neighbor in nearby Mt. Pleasant. It was perfect for a small group of groomsmen and groom and was safe and clean. Great communication with the property owner was so helpful since we were unfamiliar with the greater Charleston and Mt. Pleasant area. Thank you for making our stay wonderful!

Family Wedding Weekend
The house was perfect for our family to all stay together for a family wedding in the area. It was a great location to all parts of Charleston. Beach was beautiful and downtown was just a short drive. Had everything we needed to make meals. Beds and couches were very comfortable and house was clean.

Owners/Operators are Cheapskates!
I have stayed in many VRBO's and what I will say about this property is that this is an old house with cheap or old furnishings. I know that it is managed (and maybe owned) by a corporation so it definitely is missing that feel you get of an OWNER's personal touch. I realize that it is old, but things could be done to make it more inviting and comfortable so you don't feel you are sitting in furniture from the goodwill store! Nothing has been done to make this place accommodating. Also, all other places I have stayed always have things well stocked with extra's like cleaning supplies, K-Cups for your coffee maker, zip lock bags, laundry detergent, toiletries, shampoos, etc... This place had NOTHING. We had to buy pods for the dishwasher, garbage bags, etc. I realize that this was not a high-end rental, but come-on spend a few dollars, spruce up the place, install the dispensers and supply the shower supplies, and stock some basic staples to make the renters feel welcomed and appreciated! I may go back to Charleston but I will avoid this place and others owned/operated by this company!

Convenient to downtown Charleston
Four ladies who have traveled for 33 years together look for a place to stay that meets our expectations: each has their own bedroom, adequate kitchen, one level and close to history.or a beach. This house met those requirements. Our only comments would be that we did not have enough silverware or dishes. Our issues, mixer- was replaced quickly and a potential leak for the refrigerator was also addressed quickly. .
