MCM Magic on the Marsh

Set on the Wando River with picturesque marsh and water views, this 1960's contemporary provides unique style and comfort. The entire home is thoughtfully furnished with authentic and inspired Mid Century Modern pieces. The living room, dining room, kitchen, and two bedrooms face the river. The cozy family room offers a 65" LG OLED evo tv. The location and lush surroundings provide peaceful privacy. Enjoy the terraced back lawn and walk out to the dock.

We really enjoyed our stay! Amazing views from this house of the marsh and the water. Beautiful sunsets. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The host was very responsive. This is probably the best stocked house we have ever rented. The kitchen had everything you could need. We would definitely stay here again.

The house layout is great for two separate families. Jon is super responsive and has set up this house to the point that you need basically nothing to start your stay. Location location location.... convenient to get to basically anything in the area in 15 min or less. And the river views are amazing. Will definitely be a return renter.

Magic in July

Magic on the marsh is just right for our family! Jon endures that the house is stocked with everything needed - comfortable beds, spices in the kitchen, snacks, and more! The views are beautiful and serene. We look forward to coming back every year.

Amazing property

My family rented the home for 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The view is literally a million dollar view and the house was immaculately cleaned! 10/10 for everything and would 100 % rent again. Jon the owner was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions.

Amazing home, location, and views!

My wife and I hosted our families at Jon's place for Thanksgiving and it was perfect! In addition to the aesthetics pictured, it was among the cleanest and most well-stocked homes we've stayed in. Jon was a great and very responsive host, but there wasn't really anything to ask of him, all the bases were more than covered. I would absolutely repeat this experience again!

Making Famiky Memories

The property was beautiful, relaxing and spot on for what we were looking for. Great crabbing and fishing off the dock. Inside of house was warm and comfy,,well organized with supplies you may need. Beautiful neighborhood!!

Helpful, friendly owner. Very nice home with great view of the water. House was clean and perfect for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Location was centrally located, close to all area attractions. Especially great for events at Shipyard Park.

Mid century modern treasure

The property well exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of clean linens and the shower was amazing! We had a blast playing board games and being able to watch the big container ship pass by. The view from all the windows was stunning. We were able to fish off the pier, caught a few blue craps and even spotted a couple of dolphins! Jon, the host was very communicative. Stay place to spend your time in Mount Pleasant!

Serene and Special

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely mid-century modern home. Our host was attentive and helpful. The house was clean and fresh, the kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds and bedding, extra toiletries in the bathes. We were 2 couples. The house has 2 bedrooms at each end with a bath between (4 bedrooms, 2 baths), and a powder room in the middle. Easy to have your own space, and the view is special. The house is on the marsh, ideal for watching wildlife and fishermen from the dock. We were amazed at the huge cargo ships gliding by. The location is serene with the busy city of Charleston just across the bridge. Highly recommend this property.
