  • Wake up to the sound of waves. Step off your deck onto your own private beach.
    Tucked along the shores of Tar Bay on Great Exuma, this secluded 2BR/2BA beach cottage offers something most Caribbean properties simply can't — a semi-private beach that will make you feel like it is all yours, with world-class snorkeling just 40 yards from your deck.
    *This is not a condo or part of a resort. It's your own private piece of the Bahamas!

    THE BEACH & WATER:
    Crystal-clear water, soft sand, and zero crowds. Everything you need is included: 2 kayaks, a paddle board, 5 sets of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, a Yeti cooler, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker and a large JBL karaoke boombox. The snorkeling reef just off the deck is genuinely world-class.

    THE BEACH COTTAGE:
    The main level features an open living area with panoramic ocean views from every window, a full kitchen, and a master bedroom with smart TV & a king bed. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and smart TV. The lower level (private entrance) has a queen and a twin bed — perfect for families or groups. Sleeps up to 6 comfortably.
    Everything is refreshed and ready: new A/C units, new beds with pillow-top mattresses, new kitchen, new windows, new outdoor furniture, and a new refrigerator — all updated around 2023.

    THE LOCATION:
    5 minutes from Exuma International Airport (GGT). 10-12 minutes to George Town. Grocery stores, restaurants, a liquor store, and a meat market all within a few miles.
    Exuma is one of the most beloved family islands in the Bahamas — safe, friendly, and jaw-droppingly beautiful year-round. It's home to the famous swimming pigs, world-class bonefishing, deep-sea fishing, sailing, and more activities than you can fit into one trip.

The stay was amazing, super close to everything. The property is literally a piece of heaven. Travis and Resa were easy and great to work with. The place has everything you could ever need - umbrellas, yeti coolers, jbl speakers, snorkel gear, the list goes on and on! We traveled with a one year old and they went above and beyond to make us more comfortable with her! Thanks again! We will definitely be back!

Everything was great. Theresa and Travis (your host and caretaker) always promptly responding for any help and suggestion. Wonderful spot rightly on the beach always with a breeze. What a sunrise directly in front of you and the grill for dinner worked perfectly. Plenty of everything you need for cooking at home.

Awesome beach cottage

We had the best time at Paradise Point! You can't beat the location - right on Tar Bay with a beautiful beach right outside the door. Our host, Travis, is very responsive and helped us with anything we needed and provided some great recommendations while visiting Exuma. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Amazing Stay at Paradise Point

Highly recommend this property. The house is right on the beach with everything you need. It's also centrally located and easy drive to anywhere on the island. Travis was great to work with and had great suggestions on everything from beaches, excursions, food, and rental car. Would definitely go back.

Outstanding! We can’t say enough about our recent trip and how enormously lucky we are to have found Paradise Point house. Travis has been a stellar host going above and beyond. When our flight to Exuma was cancelled he even jumped onto the computer trying to find solutions for us! (The airline did finally get us there) He and Theresa (Resa) were always ready with answers to our questions or recommendations. The kayaks were awesome, the snorkel gear perfect! But the house!! If you are lucky enough to find it available, book it! It truly is your own private slice of Paradise.

Beautiful slice of paradise

Travis was a very attentive and helpful host. He helped us with cars, excursions and recommendations on restaurant’s. We loved the private beach and the house was exactly what we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place

We loved this house- beautiful view of the ocean and the beach felt secluded and private. It was close to the airport and easy to find. Travis was very helpful, setting up our car rental and connecting us with locals for amazing tours. He made everything easy!

We had an amazing time in Exuma. Travis was great to communicate with. Resa took great care of the house and our groceries, Paul the chef cooked a delicious meal and all of Travis’s recommendations were great! We can’t wait to come back!

Family vacation

This home is full of Bahamian charm! Travis the owner went out of his way to make our stay the best it could be. Resa, the caretaker was a gem! The view from the home is unbelievable and the location mid-island is perfect for exploring.

Great communication

Travis provided a lot of details and useful info about the island before and during our stay and helped arrange the rest of our program on the Exumas incl. a car rental, taxi ride, sightseeing trips etc. The house was beautiful and well equiped and the location right on the beach is great!

INCREDIBLE!

The owner and caretaker are incredible. The house is comfortable. The privacy is perfect. The view is incredible. It's perfectly located for access to both Tropic of Cancer and Coco Plum beaches. We had several good meals at local restaurants. I highly recommend this property.

Fabulous Week at Paradise Point

Paradise Point was the perfect location on the island. So convenient to everything. We loved the house - clean, comfortable and cute as it can be! And the VIEW - Absolutely amazing view from every room in the house! Travis and Resa went above and beyond in making sure our stay was exceptional with their communications, restaurant suggestions and things to see and do. Best rental ever! Paradise

We just returned from our stay in Bahamas, and we are already planning our next return. The people are so nice, water is beautiful and Travis/Resa are outstanding host. I have rented VRBO's on several occasions and I have never had a host like them. They both made sure our stay was enjoyable and they even helped with our car rental, boat excursions, groceries, places to eat, etc. You will not be disappointed renting this home.

Paradise Point

We were 100% satisfied with everything at Paradise point. Travis and Resa were great to work with. We have had some good VRBO hosts in the past but they are in a league of their own. The property was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need for your vacation and the views and beach right out front are 2nd to none. We would highly recommend Paradise point! Paradise for sure!

First, Travis and Resa are amazing. The communication is excellent with fast response. Help with car rental, directions and parking to amazing beaches and on a precious visit set up a boat tour! The house is great, location is close to everything we wanted and it’s PRIVATE!! Neighbors are not that close which made it super relaxing, oh and the private beach area….cannot complain! Already have another stay booked with more to come, for sure!

All the comforts of your own home

Amazing view - check Owner communication - check Close to everything (with a car!) - check Beach access and beautiful beach - check All the amenities you need at home - check Family of four just spent a week at Paradise Point on Tar Bay. Waking up to the bright blue ocean lapping the white sand was a memory we will all cherish. Travis and Resa were full or recommendations and made our stay wonderful! Beautiful

What a wonderful week! Gorgeous weather and beaches. Home was very nice with all amenities. It was wonderful to hear the waves crashing on the beach, especially at night. Travis made us feel at home and offered assistance in many aspects of our trip, such as rental car, excursions and even groceries. Resa, housekeeper was awesome! A place we would love to come back to! Thanks for everything!

Great vacation rental. Very private. Awesome for all ages.

Travis was an excellent host. Was very helpful in organizing my vacation including car rental and cab rides. Very quick to answer any questions. House was very comfortable and well supplied.. View is spectacular. Theresa, the caretaker was likewise very helpful and had groceries I requested available when we arrived. Loved my time at Paradise Point and looking forward to returning again.

Perfect location!!

Paradise Point is the perfect beachfront location; close to everything. The proximity to the airport, Georgetown, groceries, restaurants and beaches worked perfectly for our family! The home is stocked with literally everything you need for a wonderful vacation! Travis and Resa were extremely quick to respond to any questions we had and even set us up with a rental car before we arrived. The view is unbeatable and location on Tar Bay Beach was both beautiful and extremely private. We only saw a few people walk by in the mornings. We would definitely stay here again!
