Lower Class Clientele. A Below-Average Resort. If Atlantic City NJ had an All Inclusive resort, this place would likely be it. I didn’t come for a ritzy experience &/or full peace & quiet, I knew it was a family/all-ages resort, but I in no way expected the overcrowded/oversold atmosphere with unrefined clientele. Pros: 2-bedroom family suite was great. My kids loved the water slides & the convenience of the all-day food court. Pleasant staff overall. If you can catch a non-crowded time at the waterpark, the kids will love it. Cons: Beach/ocean riddled with seaweed. Constant sales pitches on the beach. Guests constantly walk the oversold resort rudely blasting their own bluetooth speakers; I’ve never experienced that lack of common sense consideration from hotel guests before on any resort. From a business standpoint, there is a Scalability issue for sure. The resort is just too big to be efficiently managed & operated. Locals &/or nearby-resort guests used the water park & flooded the night-life scene. From my balcony, I watched them flow in from the street through midnight. the main area’s party speakers blasted throughout the resort well beyond midnight. Felt overbooked at every stage of our vacation; overflowing crowds at each restaurant, pools were overpacked, & navigating the walkways between buildings was like dodging inner city foot-traffic. Been to 10+ all inclusives in 6 different countries in the last 15 years, this was a lower class clientele.

Let me start with the positives. Wait staff at the buffet was wonderful. The coffee shop in the lobby is great. Food in the buffet was good. Room condition: we had 2 rooms. There was 1 blanket only between the 2 rooms. The glasses for water were also missing. After calling the front desk three times I decided to walk up to the check-in area. They handed me the blanket so I could take it to my room instead of putting it in my room. The AC broke down on day 2. I asked for that to be repaired. The repairman made of some story about comfort level and all that the AC never worked for the remainder of the trip. Some power outlet stain work. Food: buffet was OK but rest of the restaurants are mediocre at best. In the Japanese restaurant we had to ask five times where our food was and the staff there could care less. Pool: pools are nicely maintained. They should have more towels though, they would run out of towels in the afternoon. Entertainment: if you’re looking for a party, this is a wonderful place to be. Their entertainment is good.
