Esta hermosa casa moderna se encuentra en un acre de tierra, frente al Océano Pacífico y tiene hermosas vistas al agua y al atardecer. El piso principal tiene un techo alto de vigas abiertas, comedor y sala de estar, piso de madera de roble blanco, gran cocina gourmet con encimeras de granito y cocina de gas comercial y doble horno, medio baño, plano de planta abierto, gran terraza con vista al mar y al atardecer y mesa grande y barbacoa nueva.
El dormitorio principal tiene una nueva cama king y una chimenea eléctrica, el segundo dormitorio tenía una cama queen y una cama individual y hay una cama doble en la sala de televisión.
Hay un área de spa al aire libre separada con privacidad, vista al mar y al atardecer, bañera de hidromasaje grande y ducha exterior cerrada con agua caliente a pedido.

La casa está en una zona tranquila donde se pueden escuchar las olas y los leones marinos. Hay grandes caminatas y caminatas en Big Sur y directamente desde la casa; tiendas y restaurantes en Carmel, a solo 10 minutos. Avistamiento de ballenas a lo largo de la costa o hacer un recorrido desde el puerto de Monterey.
El mundialmente famoso Acuario de Monterey está a 20 minutos, el aeropuerto de Monterey a 15 minutos, el aeropuerto de San José 1 1/2 horas y San Francisco 2 horas.

Private spot with amazing view

I stayed here with my sister and her wife for a long weekend. It felt like a private oasis in the woods but was close to Carmel by the Sea and everything we were wanting to see in the Big Sur area. Amazing views of the ocean. Very clean. There are some nuances to be aware of if you want to cook (having to light the pilot, lighters are provided), and use the hot tub (the jets may come on to circulate the water if it drops below the pre-set temp). You have to drive up a pretty steep hill, I'd recommend trying to do it in daylight the first time to get the hang of it.

Great home base

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was as advertised and more! It was out of the way and very quiet, but within minutes of town. The kitchen was stocked exceptionally well, with everything you’d need to cook a gourmet meal! Karin was a very gracious host!

Great private location that's close to everything!

Everything was great! The view is amazing! The Kitchen and all amenities are very thoughtful. Everything we needed was right where it was expected. The hot tub is private and secluded. Hope to stay again some day!

Absolutely Fabulous!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house is on a large, lush and quiet property up on a hill and has a great view of the ocean. We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets from the large deck. The house is darling and is so clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The beds are really comfortable with nice bedding and pillows. Close to hiking locations and to the shopping and restaurants at Carmel-by-the-Sea. Check in was simple and the host was very accessible for any questions we had. We will absolutely be returning! Highly recommend!

Amazing

I spent 3 nights with my mom and daughter. The house is beautiful, perfectly comfortable, and lots of little touches to help you enjoy it thoroughly: flip flops of all sizes provided to get to the spa area, tons of towels, robes, binoculars and Audubon guide, and more. I also appreciated the beautiful container plants all around the property. Well done!

Incredible weekend in spacious beautiful place

Karin’s place is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked and the views from the house and hot tub were stunning. The beds were really comfortable. Communication was great. Be mindful that smaller cars may struggle to drive up the steep road to the house but otherwise great!

View of the ocean was even better than advertised!Very clean well appointed home in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Karin’s comfortable and cozy home had everything we needed for our stay. Pictures were great actual location and stay were better

The property itself is incredible. Too many great things to list them all but I’ll start with a couple. #1 Outdoor warm shower right next to the private fenced in spa that has lounge chairs and a great view. #2 The deck on the main house has views And sunsets to die for. #3 A great kitchen with very upscale of appliances and every cooking utensil you can think of to prepare gourmet meals. #4 Very close to downtown Carmel, but far enough out where you feel very secluded. #5 The host was incredible. Gave us tips on hiking restaurants, and anything that we needed. I could go on and on, but all I will say is it’s one of the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in and we stay in a lot.

Awesome Property

We really enjoyed the main floor with the wonderful ocean view. Loved the wood paneled vaulted ceilings and all the windows and sky lights that let the light pour in. Enchanting. Beautiful artwork and decor as well with live plants and orchids. Weather during our stay did not allow for using the nice outside space on the deck. We didn't cook any meals, but the kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom supplies were abundant. We were surprised the bedrooms and main bath were all downstairs from the main level. The bedrooms were basic but comfortable.

Lovely home with a great view of the ocean!

This home was super clean and very well appointed with everything you could want or need during your stay. The decor was tasteful, the beds were comfortable and had nice featherbeds. The hot tub with robes provided and wood fireplace were nice on those chilly nights. The kitchen was a dream to cook and prepare family meals in. We enjoyed the abundant light throughout the upstairs and the view of the ocean. The living room was comfortable to read by the fire or play games with family. Overall, it was an enjoyable vacation home and we would definitely stay again!
