"Absolutely outstanding experience at Villa Mara. We got in late and couldn’t believe we were in the right spot at first. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood, you wouldn’t know Villa Mara is there unless you’re in the know. Once onto the beautiful grounds, we were greeted with multiple fire pits and a beautiful candle lit bar. Check-in consisted of a welcome drink while attentive staff saw to our luggage. All amenities were top tier (brunch, nightly turn down service) but the absolute best...

"Everything was amazing except for the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the signal only reached the entrance of our room, so we couldn’t reliably use it inside."

"Super clean room and bathroom. Convenient location, reasonably priced. The lady who checked us in was informative and very pleasant."

"The property is so charming. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The courtyard is beautiful and cozy and Terrys is wonderful. We hope to make it back."

"The breakfast was good with pastries from rise and roam and good coffee. However, we didn’t receive our pet amenities and our room vibrated. The host did refund our pet charge and our resort fees which was very much appreciated since we didn’t quite understand what we would be paying for. The room was very cute itself as well as the courtyard."

"The front desk people were so friendly and helpful about all my questions about what to do and best places to dine in. The place is amazing, very close to the town, but far enough to have a quiet and relaxing night after your busy day! The cottage was very clean and spacious with the basic facilities. I will definitely go back"

"Breakfast didn’t have a lot of choices Hot tub & outdoor fireplace were great Rooms are a bit small Finding onsite parking was limited/issue"

"Clean room, but signal is not good."

"The location was perfect and staff was very helpful. The cappuccino machine in the breakfast area was great. My only complaint is that the internet was lousy. I hated that it would require me to either join their club with all of my information or listen to an add for Prevagen at least once a day before allowing me to use the internet. It was very frustrating. Mary at the front desk went above and beyond when she helped me retrieve my laptop that I accidentally left there. She was amazing."

"We enjoyed our stay there. It’s very cute and close to the beach."

"Very cute place. Fireplace make stay more cozy. In Carmel by the sea center"
