  • Hermoso apartamento de encanto, muy romántico, antiguo hogar del bisabuelo del dueño, Notario de Montepulciano. Recientemente renovado, muy tranquilo, en una posición magnífica: en el centro histórico, pero con vistas a las murallas de la ciudad en una posición dominante. Dos habitaciones deliciosamente bien amuebladas; ambos con pisos de parquet, hermosos techos con frescos del siglo XIX y un magnífico panorama sobre toda Valdichiana y el lago Trasimeno. Luminoso salón con vigas a la vista, claraboya eléctrica y suelo de terracota.
    Cocina totalmente equipada. Arandela. Baño con ducha / hidromasaje. TV LCD. WiFi gratis. Aire acondicionado. Calefacción autónoma. Capacidad para 4 personas (1 cama doble + 2 camas individuales una al lado de la otra) +2 (1 sofá cama y 1 sillón cama). Utilizable todo el año.
    NB: La casa y la calle de abajo, por sus características particularmente escenográficas, se han utilizado para el rodaje de algunas escenas de la película 'NEW MOON' (secuela de 'TWILIGHT') y, más recientemente, para la filmación de la película para televisión. "I MEDICI", con Dustin Hoffman y Richard Madden (casi totalmente filmado en Montepulciano y Pienza)

This was a very functional apartment very close to the Porto Prato in the lower end of the village. Do NOT follow Google Maps! There is paid parking just shy of the Porto Prato, but free parking a block or so further away, use that. The hostess was very cordial and her assistant who let us in was helpful, though she did not speak English. Functional kitchen, washer, both bedrooms had awesome views. Just around the corner to left past the Porto, not too noisy as well. The shower was a little quirky, but did the job although cramped! You are going to get some exercise walking around the city, but well worth it. We loved our stay!

Wonderful apartment. Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Views are fantastic. Hostess was very kind and accommodated our late arrival (and provided a nice bottle of wine in the apartment). Location is great - very close to parking lots and supermarket (Conad). Would gladly stay there again.

The apartment is so beautiful with antique furniture and a great view from both rooms. The host helped in finding the place even after they had already sent me the instructions. We arrived after check-in time and still managed to get into the unit with no problems. The location is within the city walls, so it was great for exploring Montepulciano and the nearby cute medieval villages. Highly recommended, and we would love to come back and stay in this region longer. Love the apartment, the views, the food, the ambiance. Everything!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Montepulciano. Everything in the town, including this apartment have a lot of age and history which is part of the charm. The highlight of this property is the phenomenal view and overall location. From the towns main entrance the property can be accessed by a 5 minute walk (because only permitted residence can drive inside the walls). The property is probably a 1 minute walk to the start of the Main Street (shops, cafes, restaurants etc). Great city and great place to stay. Would stay here again if we return to Montepulciano.

We really enjoyed the traditional interior of the apartment and excellent location of the property. A charming spot to immerse yourself in small village living while traveling through Tuscany. A good value as well.

The property was beautifully done, it’s got a lot of character yet it has all the modern amenities. The pictures don’t do justice to the place, it’s spacious, has 2 bedrooms, a lounge, a dining table and a kitchen. The bedrooms opens to a beautiful view of Tuscany ideal for the sunrise coffee. The location could not be anymore handy, the 50-60m from the main gate of the city (ZTL) but we were able to get parking right outside. Fernanda, the host was amazing, she communicated everything in detail and was super helpful. The weather turned very quickly and it got hot, she provided fans upon our request. We absolutely love the old Italian charm of this property, it is an ideal place in Montepulciano, literally 20m from the Main Street.

Apartment was as close to city as possible but still a 3 block walk (uphill! But worth it!). Site is on third floor, no elevator, so challenging for older folks. Perfect location to enjoy the town! Host very gracious, even with his car accident and hospital stay on the first day, he graciously answered our communications. Amazing city and local visits to wineries, oil tasting, cheese making, and excellent restaurants. Odd hours for opening times so check each day. Apartment was historic and the ceiling frescos were stunning!

Heart of Montepulciano home.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was conveniently located for parking and taking your luggage. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. It was very clean and was a great weekend. Our stay was short but we enjoyed it very much. Would recommend staying here.

A wonderful break from a hectic trip

We were half way through a six week trip and exhausted from Roman sites and weather. This place was a wonderful, comfortable, clean, spacious, welcoming oasis to recover for the next phase of the trip. Walking the city in the morning and evening was leisurely and uncrowded with amazing views.
