  • Villa Centoni is located 1 km from the historic center of Montecarlo (Medieval Village), surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Immersed in the suggestive Tuscan countryside.

    Its terrace offers a breathtaking view, dominating much of the Lucca plain.

    The villa has a salt water swimming pool, independent and well-furnished garden (sunbeds, chairs, gazebo, tables), private parking, night lighting, barbecue, ping-pong table.

    The villa is furnished with authentic 19th century furniture.

    Its interior, TV room with fireplace, dining room, large and well-equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, for a total of 280 square meters.

    Our characteristics: Family management, typical Tuscan furnishings, possibility of hosting pets, free internet connection, home suitable for family groups.

    On request we can offer numerous extra services
    Catering, Private Chef, Cooking Classes, bicycle rental, wine tasting, oil tasting.

    For any type of request ask the owner for information.

    The owner of the villa (Lido) has a great passion for organic extra virgin olive oil, he produces a fantastic extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed, to enhance all its aromas and scents.

    A few meters from the villa you can admire Lido's olive trees that he takes care of with the utmost passion. Upon your arrival at the villa, Lido will be happy to give you a bottle of oil produced by him with so much love.

    The villa is managed by Lido and his son Massimo.

    For the Centoni family it is always a great pleasure to meet new families who appreciate the Tuscan territory and its cultures.

    To ensure a consistently clean pool and excellent water, Massimo cleans and checks it periodically. A schedule is agreed upon with guests so as not to disturb their stay.

    The swimming pool is open the first days of May and closes on October 15th.

Nice property at walking distance of Montecarlo

We had a good time here with 9 persons. It is an excellent base to visit the towns of Lucca, Pistoia & Firenze, but especially the nice evening atmosphere in the beautiful old village of Montecarlo

Very nice villa

Very nice villa located 10 min of walking distance from Montecarlo which is a charming village. There is a very nice view from the balcony. The garden is quite small but there is a nice swimmingpool. The house had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful.

Another fantastic stay

This was our second time staying at the property. Lido and Massimo are fantastic hosts, so kind, helpful and quick to sort any issues. Montecarlo is a beautiful place and the house is an excellent base to explore more of the area. Would definitely recommend!

Super fin bolig til prisen.Det var vores 3. Ophold i boligen, hvor vi også har holdt ferie i 2017 og 2023. Huset har en fantastisk beliggenhed nær den lille bjergby montecarlo, hvor der er masser af restauranter og et ishus. Vi havde bestilt en kok (chef Silvia) under opholdet, som lavede en udsøgt italiensk middag for os. Huset har en fin lille pool som er uundværlig i den italienske sommer. Vi var meget glade for den ekstra fryser, som hjalp os med at holde drikkevarer kolde under vores ophold

Mooie villa op een fantastische locatie

Heerlijke week gehad! Huis is groot en biedt privacy voor iedereen. In de buurt is veel te zien. Leuk dorpje op loopafstand. Maar ook een dagje in de tuin met het heerlijke zwembad is zalig.

Zum empfehlen

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen. Das Haus, der Pool und die Umgebung sind sehr gepflegt. Auch die Besitzer sind sehr nett.Die Aufteilung von den Zimmern ist sehr gut, genügend Badezimmer mit WCs, Duschen oder Badewanne. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Plenty of space for 6 adults. Nice pool. Comfortable beds. Good communication with Massimo throughout. Mid-30's temperature meant the villa was hot with no way to cool it down, despite leaving windows and shutters closed. An uphill walk into picturesque Montecarlo took 15 minutes to reach the restaurants.

Fantastic holiday in Villa Centoni

This really was a wonderful holiday. The villa is spacious and spotless. Lido and Massimo were incredibly helpful, but gave us just the right amount of privacy. The location at the edge of Monte Carlo was perfect. We were in there every day, for morning coffee, a leisurely lunch or dinner in one of the numerous restaurants. We were travelling as three couples within a family and everyove loved it.

Godt sted at samle familien

Vi var 6 voksne og 3 børn fra 2 til 7 år, og havde en dejlig uge. Boligen har en god fordeling af soveværelser og badeværelser, og et stort køkken som dog er noget slidt. Lækkert med egen pool. Kunne godt renses mere end den ene gang på en uge. Beliggenhed indenfor gåafstand til hyggelige Montecarlo, med flere caféer og restauranter.

Brilliant stay

We had a lovely week at the villa. Both Massimo and Lido were great to deal with and really accommodating to our needs. The salt water pool is small but perfect for keeping cool, and Massimo and Lido take really great care of it. Massimo even helped us cook on the BBQ one evening, which was very kind and greatly appreciated. We had 4 cars between our group and the all fitted into the private driveway. The town is just a 5 minute walk uphill - it is steep but very manageable and worth it for lovely restaurants and stunning views.

Gorgeous Tuscan villa near picture-perfect hilltop town

Gorgeous villa in an amazing part of Italy. Warm, welcoming hosts. Great communication from start to finish. No air con, but not needed with shutters keeping house cool. Refreshing pool. Ping pong table kept the teenagers and young at heart happy for many hours. Beautiful spot near the charming medieval village of Montecarlo. Restaurants, gelatos, bars. Only a 10 min walk (though uphill - older guests may struggle). Close to the relaxing city of Lucca - 20 mins in a car, also Florence (hourish), and Siena (1hr 20). Thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Grazie Massimo e Lido!

Schöne Lage, sehr netter Vermieter, Minderwertige Ausstattung

Wir waren 7 Erwachsene und 1 Baby. Die Lage des Hauses ist super, da man zu Fuss in die nächste Ortschaft mit vielen Restaurants gehen konnte, was uns sehr entgegen kam. Massimo war ein sehr netter, hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Er wohnt in der unteren Wohnung, aber man fühlte sich überhaupt nicht gestört. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war allerdings qualitativ minderwertig (unbrauchbare Pfannen, unbrauchbare Espressokanne, Billigst- Liegestühle, keine Sonnenschirme, abblätternde Küchenfronten sprich es ist alles in die Jahre gekommen. Internet nur zeitweise und unzuverlässig verfügbar.

Best Vacation Ever

My family had a wonderful week at the Villa Centoni in Montecarlo. The villa was everything we wanted: clean, spacious, beautiful views, large rooms, a nice swimming pool, nicely appointed kitchen, and plumbing that worked. It was very private, but close to the small town of Montecarlo. We were seeking a rental that was not in some tourism hot spot, and I don't think we saw any during our trip. Montecarlo was a 10 minute walk away and had great restaurants at very reasonable prices. The wine was excellent and very inexpensive. We were close enough to Pisa and Florence for anyone who wanted the tourist experience. Lastly, our hosts were very welcoming, kind, and not intrusive in any way. They responded immediately to our questions about anything. Like the rest of the people in this area, kindness and friendliness oozed out of their every pore. It was all around probably our best vacation and we would not hesitate to recommend it very highly.

We had a wonderful one-week stay here. The house is large and was perfect for our group of 10 adults and two babies. There are bedrooms and bathrooms with showers (and one bathtub on first floor) on both the upper and first floors, which was very convenient. Easy to walk up to Montecarlo (this beautiful tiny town on the hill of Montecarlo) with stunning views over the hills and cute restaurants with delicious food and wine. You’ll also live close to wine yards less than 2 km from the house.It’s good to know that essentials like toilet paper, dish soap, and hand soap were not provided at arrival, so we recommend bringing or buying these. Beds were comfortable and they provide sheets and towels for you. Massimo (Lido’s son) manages the villa and was always nearby if we needed anything. Communication worked well with the help of Google Translate. Thanks to him, we were able to surprise our parents with a wine tasting and a guided tour of the olive grove with Francesca (American). Afterwards, we enjoyed a fantastic 5-course dinner prepared by chef Silvia for the whole family in the backyard by the pool – such a memorable experience!We also had space for three rental cars in the parking area which is good to know if you’re a large family coming. Overall we are very pleased with this stay and we would recommend it to anyone who would enjoy the Tuscany area and local wines!

Fantastisk familieferie

Dejligt hus med fantastisk beliggenhed. Huset er meget funktionelt og velegnet til storfamilie. Huset er minimalistisk indrettet og vi har før været i huse i området med flottere indretning og bedre pool. Hertil skal dog siges at lejen på dette hus også er betydelig lavere og derfor matcher pris og kvalitet fint. Vi havde nogle problemer med den lille fryser over køleskabet som ikke fungerede, når der var meget mad i køleskabet. Dette løste udlejer ved og anskaffe en lille kummefryser og herefter fungerede det fint. Vi havde desværre 2 dage hvor vi ikke kunne bruge poolen, fordi pumpen ikke virkede. Det er naturligvis lidt ærgerligt. Det var dog vores indtryk at ejeren gjorde hvad han kunne, for og løse problemet hurtigst muligt. udlejer var også fleksibel ved ankomst og afrejse, hvilket var en stor fordel for os, da vi var fire familier der ankom og afrejste på forskellige tidspunkter.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser Villa! Die Lage ist traumhaft – ruhig, mit einem fantastischen Blick über die Toskana. Das Haus ist sehr schön und gepflegt, besonders der große, grüne Außenbereich mit Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Ein perfekter Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und gleichzeitig die Schönheit der Toskana zu entdecken. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Great place to stay

We had a great stay the villa centoni! The host was very welcoming and friendly. We used the villa as the base camp, and went to other places on day trips, such as Lucca, Pisa, Pinocchio Land, Firenze. It was also nice to just hang out by the pool in the warm weather and walk up to the nearby city of Montecarlo to have some gelato! The host helped us arrange for a chef to come to the villa and cook for us a typical tuscan dinner, which was very nice.
