"The driveway is something else, little light to assist with a nasty boulder you can't see in the dark. Downstairs toilet is a tired piece of porcelain and the flush valve acted up requiring a plumber to visit. Glad the house was not full. "We really enjoyed our weekend away, two small families, sharing the house and studio across the deck. Modern Zen is set back from the road and consequently really quiet and feels super secluded. "It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

"This was the sweetest, most magical little treehouse cottage. The attention to detail, cozy linens, and high end finishes make it the perfect place to retreat and rest. Megan was very helpful and easy to communicate with! Great proximity to hikes, restaurants, and the coast. We really loved breakfast at Cape Fear, and drove up the coast one night for dinner at Coast Kitchen which was totally worth the drive. I would love to stay here again. Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful time at this home!Pros: amazing location, we walked to the river and it was a perfect swim spot. we saw ospreys, owls and bunch of other cool birds. "We love this beach house and its location. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here in Dillon Beach. This house is so comfortable and quiet. The surf was good both days and got some perfect waves. "I love the place it was beautifully and quiet. My girls and i had a great time. The one thing i did not like is when someone try to say I was having more ppl staying at the place when it wasnt true. I make sure I fallow th rulse I'm not a person that be rude in someone place. I understand the person was looking out for the own but it just made me uncomfortable.
