"The employee at check in was very friendly and upbeat. The employee checking out was friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than expected but clean and comfortable. However, the TV did not work. We wanted to unwind from traveling 2.5 hours and listen to the news. I called the front desk and they did not answer but I assumed they were busy checking guests in. "The hotel was cozy and charming and we had a great time in Canmore for 3 nights. The only reason we knocked a star off is some of the outdated-ness affected our comfort. The pilot light on the fireplace seem to give off heat, which would kick the a/c on and blow uncomfortably into the person on the bed closest to it. Meanwhile, everyone in the rest of the room was feeling hot. The beds were also a little bit uneven and sloped toward the middle as though used beyond their lifespan. The toilet...
