"We had a wonderful experience whilst staying at the Penaeldroch Manor. Mike and Carie were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and spacious and had wonderful views of the river Lledr. The locally sourced morning breakfast was fantastic and set up for the rest of the day. Thankyou once again for your wonderful hospitality."

"Couldn't find anywhere within our price point and came across here. What a lovely place to stay. Clean with a great breakfast and all the commodities needed for a comfortable stay. A very short walk into town and very handily placed. Highly recommended and will come again"

"Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! "Very comfortable stay in one of the lodges. Great location with lots to see and do in the area, especially if you like outdoor activities. Snowdon hikes are a 15/30 minute drive away depending on what route you take up the mountain. Having free access to the swimming pool and hot tub is wonderful after a days hiking. Only negative was the quality and quantity of the breakfast was a bit lacking. "

"Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons..."

"What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well. Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well."

"I am a wildlife photographer and was looking for a hotel in North Wales which had the potential for some nice photos on its doorstep and it was just what I was looking for! The grounds were beautiful. Not only that, there are plenty of quiet spaces around inside near the bar area so I was able to have a peaceful drink while I edited my photos. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we were shown to our room on arrival. We had a classic double room which was a bit too small for our liking...
