Beauty And Serenity In A Premium Montalcino Location That Will Sleep 4 Adults.

Located inside the medieval walls of Montalcino, this apartment offers ultimate convenience. You are able to walk to the bakery, the grocery store or one of Montalcino's wonderful restaurants to enjoy a delicious meal with some great wine. Private parking is a 2 minute walk for easy access. The apartment was totally renovated in March of 2016 with a beautiful new kitchen including all new appliances, dinnerware and cooking utensils (including sharp knives!); a separate dining area with new table and chairs for 4 people: a refined living room with a queen size sofa bed and two comfortable chairs sitting on a lovely Oriental rug, plus warm old world cabinetry that houses the Television and provides plenty of storage space. The bedroom has a full size wardrobe for all of your clothing items and a new queen size bed with a premium mattress. The spacious bathroom includes a clothes washer/dryer for your convenience.

Interaction with Guests
Our local House Manager speaks both Italian and English and will meet you upon arrival with keys, and a parking pass for your car. He will then take you through the apartment explaining how everything works, where everything is located and answer any questions you may have. The House Manager will also be available to you during your stay to make recommendations, give directions, or provide any other concierge type services.

Other Things to Note
Our location within Montalcino is perfect for a visit to any of the local wineries to taste the famous Brunello di Montalcino wine. Enjoy some great Tuscan food and wine in the town's many restaurants. Walk through the charming medieval hilltop town and visit its many shops selling local products such as wine, meats, produce, honey and other artisan products. Be sure to try locally made ice cream from the gelaterias. Enjoy the wonderful views of the famous south Tuscan countryside from the 16th century fortress and step inside a local museum or church for some traditional culture. Or just have a coffee or glass of wine in Piazza del Popolo to watch life pass by.

Around the Local Tuscan Area
Our location within Tuscany is perfect to explore the famous spas in the neighboring town of Bagno Vignoni or to go for a hike or bike ride through the famously beautiful Val d'Orcia. Try out the beach and seafood opportunities in Castiglione della Pescaia which is only an hour away. Visit the famous 9th century Sant' Antimo abbey (15 minutes away) or explore charming Renaissance towns like Montepulciano (45 minutes away) and Pienza (30 minutes away). The latter also doubles as the center for Tuscany's pecorino cheese production. There are excellent shopping opportunities at the Val di Chiana outlet village (45 minutes away) or The Mall, perhaps Italy's best designer outlet village (90 minutes away). And there's always Siena - just a short distance to the North, the best preserved medieval city in Tuscany and with a great atmosphere. Other Tuscan gems like Chianti, San Gimignano, and Florence are 30 minutes to two hours away (Florence).

Apartment was clean well accommodated, and conveniently located. If we’d had a place outside to sit it would have been perfect. Mauro was the perfect property host and made our stay effortless.

This apartment is fantastic and made our stay an absolutely wonderful one. The location is perfect. The space was perfect t for us and could accommodate another couple. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with! The bed so comfy, the pillows perfect! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Montalcino . Thank you so much

We had an awesome time in Montalcino. It is a very slow moving town but was perfect after traveling Italy for 10 days. Views are amazing! Mauro the property manager was great to work with….. The only complaint I have is the property was listed as having AC but this was not the case. I would highly recommend this property just don’t go when there is a huge heat wave rolling through!

The apartment is very comfortable and is well suited for brief or long stays. Its location in Montalcino is very convenient and the ability to park nearby like a "resident" is a definite plus. Mauro, our host, is very considerate and attentive. We will plan to stay there again.

Everything was good except the tv, which only works via online apps and not very well even in that mode. Property Manager — Mauro, who was great and very responsive — said other renters have had similar problems and comments about it.

Centrally located apartment in Montalcino with everything you need for a perfect stay! Sparkling clean, neat, and newly furnished including a comfy bed and beautiful linens, for a restful sleep after a long day of sightseeing. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to our friends... you won’t be disappointed!! We were met by the friendly property manager named Mauro, who was full of helpful information and was also available to help us with our luggage (much appreciated!!). 😊 The kitchen was also well set up with every utensil you would need to prepare a home cooked meal, which we welcomed after being on the road for a couple of weeks. We spent a week touring Tuscany and absolutely loved our home away from home in Montalcino. Great location, near restaurants and a grocery store. The apartment was comfortable, lovely and spacious. A great place to relax another a long day. Mauro, our local contact, couldn’t have been nicer. He even helped our out when we received a parking ticket in Montepulciano. Montalcino is a hilltop town, be prepared for up hill walks!

The apartment in Montalcino was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The location is convenient to all of the restaurants and sights in the village. WOW! WOW! WOW! We cannot say enough great things about this amazing apartment. The house manager, Mauro, was incredible and met us at our car and helped us with our luggage. This apartment was stunning down to every single detail. We hated leaving and cannot wait to come back soon. We highly recommend staying here for your stay in Montalcino-Tuscany.

For us Montalcino was perfect. Small enough that you are not bombarded with tourists and big enough there is lots to see and do close by. The apartment was just great! They have obviously taken great care in updating this apartment. I am a cook and loved this small but highly functional kitchen with sharp knives! (that never happens in rentals!) Thank you for sharing this lovely piece of Italy!

Stayed a little over a week in this incredibly well appointed, spotless apartment. The apartment has everything and all of the essentials are top quality. The view from the living room window is beautiful, featuring the neighbor's small olive grove, the town clock tower and the rolling hills of Tuscany. Watching the light change on the roofs and walls of the town with a glass of Brunello out of that window was amazing. Mauro, the apartment contact, was incredibly helpful. He came to meet us, threw our luggage into his little Ape and led us to the nearby private parking area. He explained everything about the apartment and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The information sheet provided by Ron and Andy was spot on and their recommendations were all excellent. Can't wait to come back here in a year or two! Thanks for a wonderful time!

This was our first experience renting through VRBO and it was excellent! The owner provided detailed information regarding the accommodations, location, restaurant suggestions in the area and a contact person upon our arrival. The contact was Mauro and he made access to the property very convenient, taking care of our luggage and providing a tour of the apartment. The apartment was very well appointed, clean and located within walking distance of the main piazza in the town. While Montalcino had many visitors during our stay, it retained its charm. We tried several different restaurants in the town and all were exceptional. We hope to go back and hope that this apartment will be available at that time. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

What a nicely updated apartment! A great location in the center of town. It quickly became our home away from home. Parking was easy, if you are able to walk up/down a cobble stone hill. But, this is a hill town...be prepared to walk hills. There was nothing lacking in the apartment. Fans were helpful because it was warm. The shower is amazing! We would definitely stay here again, if ever in Montalcino.

Lejligheden, der ligger i centrum af den skønne og autentiske middelalderby Montalcino, er perfekt til max. 4 personer. Da hele byen ligger på toppen af en stejl bakketop, er den mindre egnet til gangbesværede, idet samtlige gader er meget stejle. Lejligheden er meget veludstyret med alt i husholdningsmaskine og service m.v. Fra hele byen er der en pragtfuld udsigt over store dele af Toscana med de mange vinmarker, hvor den vidunderlige Brunellovin har hjemme. Det ville have været et ekstra plus for lejligheden, hvis der havde været en terrasse, hvorfra udsigten kunne nydes, men man kan ikke få alt for den yderst rimelige leje. Vi vender gerne tilbage.

This is a lovely apartment on the ground floor in Montalcino. After climbing many steep streets and many stairs in Tuscany, the ground floor is really nice :). The apartment is very comfortable and beautifully appointed. Mauro, the manager, was a delight - we needed help getting the systems up and running. Montalcino is a good size for a base town in Tuscany - large enough to have a couple of good restaurants, the New York Times, and a good Coop store; but small enough to get in and out easily with a car. A parking pass came with the apartment and it was also very nice to be able to park in town and not have to climb in from the edge. We recommend this apartment highly.

House agent Mauro was very helpful at the start in between and departure. The apartment was very good and really spacious . It was really well equipped . We had a very good time and would not hesitate recomending it
