"The property itself is so elegant and stylish with unimpeded views across to the mountains. The deck, pool and gardens are peaceful and full of beautiful sculptures. Our room, Room 4 was spacious, light and airy with a secluded private deck. A gorgeous place to stay within an easy walk to town with all its historic homes. But best of all were the delightful hosts, such warmth and so friendly and genuinely wanting to help in anyway and ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Great breakfast."

"We had a fabulous stay at the farms cottage and were welcomed with complementary sourdough bread and yummy spreads. It is very nicely decorated, spacious and comes with a hot tub that is lovely at night time - I never saw so many stars before. "Amazingly peaceful stay at this beautiful grand old house filled with gorgeous and well mantained antiques. The breakfast was incredible, and we really appreciated the fresh baked gluten free bread! "We really enjoyed our stay. Especially our Toy Poodle and Yorkie. They could roam around freely, because the premises is safe and dog-proof. We enjoyed the goodies supplied and the owners are very friendly. The cottage is nice and big and we especially enjoyed the Netflix. Only negatives, here and there things that were not completely clean, like drawers and over gloves, etc but nothing that a thorough clean can't fix. Overall the place was clean enough. We will definitely go again."

"This was our first safari experienced in Africa and loved every minute. We loved the whole ethos of Sanbona .... they are creating a wildlife reserve that is a true representation of the semi-arid Little Karoo. There may not be as many animals here as on other large-scale reserves further east but we were privileged to see many species, including witnessing lions chasing an Eiland through the gorge. "Truly amazing! Beautiful room, views and pool area. The food in the restaurant was splendid. The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect."
