"When arriving at the property it looked very dated so wasn’t sure what the rooms were going to be like. We were greeted by the host and was taken to our top floor room. It was clean and nicely decorated with a large comfortable bed with lovely pillows and bed linen. The bathroom was exceptional too, I couldn’t fault the room at all. The tea/coffee facilities were fabulous. I would highly recommend. "

"Excellent service and extremely clean, spacious rooms. Staff were so welcoming, helpful and kind! The breakfasts were delicious. The hotel is situated at a quiet place next to the river, that is an easy and quick stroll into the main hub of town. Be mindful of the electronic gate when it opens inward so you don’t have to quickly reverse your car as you leave the hotel."

"Wonderful house within walking distance of the city. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Lots of counter space in the bathroom which is handy. The breakfast was delicious with a cold buffet and a la carte hot breakfast items to order. The owner was so generous and did a load of laundry for us even though it was the day we were leaving. We hadn’t realized that laundry was an option, so it kept us from having to find a laundromat in the city."

"Very comfortable beds, loved the decoration of the room and very clean. Breakfast was excellent , just make sure to order it before 9pm, I barely made it! Place had its own parking lot so that also helped in my case."

"Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir haben und als Familie mit zwei Kleinkindern sehr willkommen gefühlt! Es hat auf dem Gelände ein paar freie Kaninchen, an welchen unsere Tochter sehr Freude hatte! Das Essen ist ein Traum! Vor allem das Dinner war so gut, dass wir jeden Abend dort gegessen hatten. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen! "

"Excellent service and customer support provided by Steve and his team. The team would typically greet you at the door every time we would come back to the hotel. Very nice stay!"

"What a stunning place! We’ve been driving around Scotland for a week this is the only place we said we’d come back and stay as a base to travel from. Our room was enormous, such a bonus to have a kitchen. Beautiful gardens. Thank you to the owners!"

"This is a beautiful place to stay. Wonderful instructions for entering and for using the shower. Lovely room and great safe location."

"Trotz grossem Trubel im angebundenen Restaurant wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Da wir sehr spät angereist waren, wurde uns sogar noch eine Mahlzeit im Restaurant nach Küchenschluss angeboten und ein Platz in der vollen Gaststube organisiert. Das Essen war äusserst lecker und ist sehr zu empfehlen. "
