Ryokan en Mombasa

"We checked in very late at night and went to bed close to midnight. The room had an AWFUL stench and the air condition was NOT working. We called and the technician arrived past mid night to check and was NOT able to restore the A/C. He told us the entire row of our side had problems with A/C and we requested a fan to minimize our agony for the night since we were exhausted. We spent the night unable to sleep let alone rest after a long day. The next day we went to the front desk and had to...

"Good overall"

"The rooms were clean and the staff were really nice and helpful"

"Very nice hotel to stay. Stayed in the studio room. Helpful staff. Spacious, clean, all the amenities included in the well- designed room. 24-hour restaurant was great, delicious food. Includes private beach with great view. Would definitely stay again and recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay ..the staff were friendly"

"This was a quality wonderful stay. The staff was excellent. The vibe was perfect. We all enjoyed our stay"

"We were forced to check out a day early and move to another hotel because our rooms were infested with mosquitoes. The restaurant service was equally disappointing — although the waiters were present, we were completely invisible to them. We had to go looking for service ourselves and were basically ignored throughout our stay."

"Other than old furnitures, the place was nice and staff were very nice and friendly and very helpful."
