"Stayed at a handful of hostels and this one's in a class of its own. Bunk beds are comfortable and private, with plenty of lockable storage underneath. The space is clean, warm, and genuinely well put together. Staff are friendly and they set the tone for the place. Taco Tuesday is not to be missed. Easy in and out, free parking just a block away. And the location speaks for itself."

"I love the OB community, the listing saying "beach view" is an understatement. The hotel is right across the street from the beach! The lobby and sitting area is so gorgeous, with plenty of dog water stations and places to wash off after the beach. 10/10 will absolutely be staying here again."

"Room was clean, our room had the only new ac unit so yeah for us! New patio furniture...beds are okay 3 pillows each bed. 2 minute walk to dog beach the reason we are there. Food truck in parking lot, Benedicts is awesome! Huge portions!!"

"Location is everything! The surfer has been there for ages, they need to use some of the money to upgrade the rooms. You can’t tell me they’re not making money handover fist there the TV never worked had to ask fresh towels every day. But you can’t beat the view."

"Parking, was not good. It was first come first serve. Ppl camp in the spots, literally. Phones don't work. I tried calling both properties no answer. Phone in the room, busy, the whole time we were there. Outdoor shower didn't work. A few bit of homeless ppl. So if you're looking for just a bed to sleep on, this is your place. But down mind all the noise from surrounding visitors. Ppl upstairs sound like elephants. Also bring some sleep mask. Would I stay here again, probably not."

"Strategic location for beach, amusement parks and restaurants. Close to major freeways and airport. House has plenty of room across the three floors. Kids loved seeing the seaworld fireworks from the open air rooftop patio. This property has it all. Owner quickly addressed any of our questions and needs. "

"First off , for the price this resort is very OUTDATED . Not worth it in my opinion . Our stay was not as expected. They let guest bring outside guest 20+ into the pool area knowing space is limited which caused myself and other guest who are paying for the amenities unable to use said amenities. Not just that , the front desk staff we spoke to at check in and the day after acted very bothered . Not just that communication clearly is an issue at this resort no one knew correct times for certain...

"Room size was excellent. Two queen beds with kitchenette. Only problem with parking is your parking spot is not guaranteed in front of your unit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ocean right there and within walking distance of everything. Will stay here again."
