    REEL BLESSING is a two-story luxury vacation home located approximately 2 minute walk to the beach and is only two houses away from the main neighborhood pool within the EMERALD SHORES subdivision, a gated beach ownership community! EMERALD SHORES is the only residential community in Destin that has a private beach pavilion with restrooms, outdoor showers, beach service and it's very own Cabana beachside. (No more walking the little ones back to the house for potty breaks!!!) It's available at the EMERALD SHORES beach pavilion!

    The home has 1624 square feet with which to spoil yourself and overflows with upgrades including sectional sofa with FOUR recliners, granite counter tops throughout, stainless steel appliances, new washer/dryer & fridge in laundry room, crown molding ceilings on main level, freshly painted interior of home, new bathroom cabinets throughout, new decor, accent lighting, travertine shower in master, tile shower on 2nd floor bath, 65" smart tv in living room with Blu ray player, 55" smart tv in master, in addition to UHD 4k 43" flat screens in each bedroom. Plenty of parking in driveway for 5 cars!!! REEL BLESSING, features three bedrooms with a luxurious KING Master Suite with a Kluft mattress (featured in Bloomingdales). The 2nd bedroom on the second level is a bunk bed extravaganza (2 bunk twins/full sleeps 6 kids). The ample room in this home is a great set-up for two families. Amazing Host

I appreciated how hospitable the host was, from texting and emailing me a week before check in, to her availability while we were staying there! This place was perfect for our family vacation!

Great location with just a short walk to the private beach. Quiet, lovely, gated neighborhood. Owner very nice and very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Great house/neighborhood

This was our third time staying in this particular neighborhood, and it never disappoints. The home was nicely decorated and very convenient to the beach. The owner is always great to work with. We all had a great week and the weather/beaches were awesome!

Short walk to the Beach

The house was very nice, clean, and decorated very nicely. The owner was nice and responsive and provided all the information needed. The house was a short walk to the beach as well as the pool. A couple of restaurants were within walking distance. Very safe and quiet community.

Our stay was AMAZING! Everything about this property was accurate. The owner was awesome with communication. The walk was a short distance to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and safe! 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our stay for the months of January and February. The weather in January was wetter and cooler then in previous years, but we made the best of it. Jackie, the owner, is fantastic!! Thanks, jim&Barb

Beautiful property, excellent location, two houses from the pool and 300 yards from the beach.

We are snow birds from Michigan and stayed here for seven weeks. The house was great, met all of our needs and very well stocked. The master bedroom/bath is on the main floor, and the two guest rooms on the second floor. Had friends and family join us, and they loved it as well. Coming back next year.

Fun in the Sun

Very nice and loved the location of the house from beach to pool. The home was nice and only a few things we had to let owner know about. I loved the fact we did not have to unpack our car and take an elevator up to any floors, all we had to do is unpack and move in. The bathrooms were great and beds comfortable. It was great having a Dollar General within walking distance, to pick up supplies we needed. The beach was great and dinning was close. We will be back.

Rate 3 starsCONS:All bed and bath linens need inspection: sheets and pillow case stained, bed pillows flat like a two dollar purchase, towels shredded. Hall toilet and door dirty, HVAC air return and filter filthy. First level back porch too dirty to use. First level hall bath toilet loose, freezer side of refrigerator leaking water. Front door appearance makes very bad first impression due to filth and broken blinds, making it suspect about what we would find inside on arrival. Front door not functioning such couldn’t open left side making passage too narrow for luggage (or wheelchair in my case), second level porch table has shattered tile insert. PROS: good Destin location, gated community, nice pools, private secured beach pavilion with easy access, very accessible and responsive host, nice corner lot, sofa recliners a great plus (especially for me as served as a handicap bed), updates were notable , kitchen well supplied , good WiFi speed first level, weaker signal second level, lots of available power outlets for chargers etc, pre-visit extensive list of what to bring and rules of rental, but needs edits/update. SUGGESTIONS: send in a repair man before next listing, add a couple of handicap bars in first level master bath (toilet and shower) for older clients, add cushions to bar stools, have HOA deal with driveway ant beds and quit blowing trash onto back porch, new cleaning service, visit property on occasion as problems aren’t recent

Great location!

There were 5 kids under the age of 9 and 4 adults. This house was the perfect size for our group. It is located within a short walk of the private beach the HOA owns. There are plenty of beach toys provided as well as a wagon. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Location

Location was perfect! Short walk to the beach. Nice and friendly neighborhood. Walking distance to the Dollar General was a bonus for us when we ran out of sunscreen or needed ice. The home fit 2 families of 4 very comfortably! Would stay here again.

Spring Break 2022

Everything was perfect!! My grandkids said we needed to make this a semi-annual thing, they loved it!!!! The home was beautiful, the location was perfect, it was a wonderful trip. Jackie, thank you for sharing you home. We will be back!!!

Jackie’s place was great! The location is awesome, only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and the house was very clean. Highly recommend her place for any families visiting town as there is plenty of space. Would definitely stay again!

Great location in Destin and in the Neighborhood

This was a great property located on the beach end of the neighborhood. About a 5 min walk to the private beach. This part of Destin is crowded but this property feels private. This particular house has a great parking space and yard area.

Perfect for families

Great location, only a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family of 4, but would easily accommodate more. The listing was very accurate, and Jackie made sure to check in with us the morning of our check-in date. She was very responsive to any questions we had. A good, clean, problem free house helps make a vacation much more enjoyable.

A great place to stay

We stayed in this home for our spring break March 21-27. With Covid, we planned to prepare all meals in the house and this worked out beautifully. There were plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, etc - kitchen was very well stocked. The location of the kitchen allowed all of us to continue to visit while meals were being prepared. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We did have a few questions when we arrived and Jackie was so very prompt to respond - it was a pleasure to rent from her. The house is located in a "neighborhood" so our younger ones had fun riding their skateboards, and playing outside in addition to using the pools. We return to Destin every year and will definitely rent this house again.
