Our 2nd Floor unit is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, condo (approximately 650 sq ft.) which comfortably accommodates 4 but will sleep as many as 6, with a queen-size bed, premium queen sofa sleeper (cozy mattress technology 9 inches thick)and built-in hallway bunk beds.

Rejuvenate your family & relax in this quiet, family-oriented private resort with everything you need for the ultimate Florida vacation with a PRIVATE BALCONY & PRIVATE GATED BEACH. Located at 2830 Scenic Highway 98 in Destin, it's one of the best deals around.

This newly renovated unit is clean, comfortable, cozy, and only 100 steps to the white sandy beach of the Gulf of Mexico.

Plenty of restaurants such as Surf Hut, Fudpuckers, Pompano Joes, Mcguires Irish Pub, The Back Porch, Kenny D's, Captain Dave's, The Crab Trap, etc.

Very cleanClose walk to the beachChair service was great to have!Not over crowded Check in and out was convenient Close drive to all activities and restaurants in Destin/miramarOnly complaint for us was the laundry situation. Condo was supplied with 6 towels for 2 people on a week long stay. This requires having to do laundry. The laundry service is not free and it’s not located in the room. There is one washer and dryer on each floor (3 floors) for everyone to share. Not the owners fault but definitely a drawn back to normally staying at a location with in room service making it nice to switch loads in between vacation activities.

Great location!

We had a great stay! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The location is convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. The beach access was close and easy and the beach chairs were an added bonus. We would definitely stay again.

Exactly what we needed

The condo was perfect, ocean view from the balcony. Only steps from the ocean with private beach, our chairs and umbrella which were included in stay, we're set up and waiting for us every morning. The owners are simply amazing, they went well over and Beyond. We definitely recommend 208 to all of our friends and family and hope to return soon.

The condo was very clean and nice. Ocean view balcony. Nice pool and hot tub. Very close walking distance to the beach. We got our own set of beach chairs and umbrella that was included with our stay. Would definitely recommend

The Bed/Bedroom

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. There's a foam mattress topper on the mattress. The topper did not provide any support, when we laid in the bed we would sink into the mattress. We are both under 200lbs so weight had nothing to do with the sinkage in the middle. We did not experience a restful nights sleep during our stay. I slept on the bunkbed the first night and slept uncomfortably in the bed for two nights. I finally gave up and spent the last three nights on the sofa. They offered some firmness but was still uncomfortable. My partner alternated between the bed and the bunkbeds. The nights he did sleep in the bed he did not sleep well. The primary mattress was not secure and would hang over the frame. We had to push it back onto the frame. I would also suggest some type of odor eliminator for the condo. When we arrived there was a stale air smell in the condo. I purchased a glade air freshener gel and placed it in the living area but one was also needed in the bedroom. For whatever reason the smell was stronger in the bedroom and moving the odor eliminator to the bedroom and spraying did not remove the smell. The other reviewers comments about the cleanliness and location of the property relative to the beach are true. However, due to the issues we experienced with the bed and the bedroom, I would not stay in the unit again or recommend it.

Cute Beach Condo

Charlie's place was awesome! Everything we needed was in the condo, we felt right at home! From the included beach service to the great communication from start to finish I definitely would love to stay again. Thank you Charlie!

Perfect location!

This is our third time staying at gulfview, and of course it didn’t disappoint. The location is perfect, the condo amenities are great and are supplied with everything you need. Our host supplied beach service which includes two chairs an umbrella for the whole week! This was amazing, we didn’t have to lug a bunch of things over to the beach everyday! Great host and will for sure go back! Thank you my family had a great time as always!

Super Clean Condo in Great Location

We had a great week in Miramar Beach. The location of the condo is great. It was super clean when we arrived and it was well stocked with starting essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Charles was great to rent from and answered texts very quickly. We hope to be back again soon.

We would definitely recommend this property! It was clean, more than enough cooking and dishes for the kitchen. Beds were comfy. The plus was the 2 chairs and umbrella rental. We will stay here again!

Wonderful condo

Pictures don’t do this condo justice. It is much more beautiful in person. Especially the view from the balcony of the ocean. Kitchen is fully equipped with anything you will need. The queen size bed is like sleeping on a cloud! The owners were very quick with responses. Never had an issue while we were there, just with check in and check out. We def will be staying here again! Oh and go to Kenny D’s while there. AMAZING food!

Excellent location across the street from the beach!

We enjoyed the convenience of having the beach chairs and umbrella available and how easy it was to walk to the beautiful beach! The décor in the condo is lovely and worked well for our family of 4. Charles and Becky were great to work with.

Small Piece of Paradise

A wonderful, clean, and updated space that was perfect for our family vacation of 4 (2 college aged girls). The condo had everything we needed and we were just steps away from the beautiful, pristine beach. Everyone from Charles to the beach service were very friendly, really enjoyed the included beach chairs and umbrella! Only complaint would be that the bed was too soft but that's just our personal preference. We are looking forward to staying again, and again, and again! Thank you again for sharing your home with our family!
