The Empress Unit 601 embodies all that it implies: luxurious furnishings, spectacular accessories, balconies with sweeping Gulf and lake views. Empress amenities include a pool and hot tub overlooking the lake and two grilling stations. This vacation rental condo is 2600 sq ft of breathtaking elegance. This unit is truly one of the largest, most beautiful condos in Destin. This amazing three bedroom, three bathroom, 6th floor unit with a spacious floor plan offers unparalleled views of the Gulf of Mexico, lake, and golf course. The private balcony with full Gulf views is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or experience a romantic sunset.


This open floor plan condo is tiled with luxurious travertine throughout the foyer, living room, bathrooms and kitchen. There is a full wet bar in the living room, complete with beautiful wine, martini, beer and margarita glasses for your enjoyment. There is a sound system throughout the unit, including speakers on the balcony! The high-end dining table seats 8-10 comfortably. The kitchen and bathrooms have just been renovated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, including a double oven and french door refrigerator, vessel sinks, heated Jacuzzi, and rainfall shower-head!


This beautiful vacation rental condo offers two gorgeous master bedrooms with king beds - each with its own private spa bath and balcony overlooking the Gulf. A third bedroom has two double beds and a huge window with a stunning view of the lake. An additional sleeper sofa is located in the living room. Large tiled balconies facing both the front and rear with ample comfortable seating provide a place for sunbathing, reading, dining or just enjoying the view.


In the living room, you will find a TV with an HD converter, iPod docking cables, movies, and board games. This condo is perfect for a family vacation and provides all the comforts of home right on the Gulf of Mexico.

Big Condo, Great Location

Pros: My family couldn’t say enough good about this space. Finding space for nine is no easy task, but this spacious condo was perfect. The views from both balconies are beautiful. The kitchen is stocked with nearly everything you could need to cook meals for your family. The building itself is clean, modern, and convenient to access the beach and local businesses. Cons: We arrived at the complex 30 minutes prior to the 4:00 check in time. When we pulled in, we found it to be a gated complex that requires a code. I called the rental company to get the code so we could wait in the parking lot for our check in time & they lady refused to give it to us & said we’d get the info we needed when it was the 4:00 check in time. Fortunately, someone at the complex gave us a code to get into the parking lot so we had somewhere to wait. (The complex manager, Al, was FANTASTIC.) After a short time in the condo, we found a coffee maker with no pot & the floors were very dirty. I messaged Glass Casa and someone was in our condo very quickly with a brand new coffee pot & someone to mop the kitchen floor. Despite the cleaning of the kitchen, the carpet & other flooring in the condo is dirty/soiled below the surface & our feet were visibly dirty & black from walking around the condo. The flooring needs a good, deep cleaning, both carpet and tile. All things aside, this is an incredible space & we will absolutely book it again when we come back with the whole family!

The view, location and beach access are 5 Stars! The wear and tear abuse of the unit is obvious upon entry and annoying by the time you leave. The baseboards and leading edges are dingy in color, marked and chipped paint throughout with some trim loose and falling apart. Door handles are all loose and falling off. Some blinds and blind cords don’t work or function correctly. Window tint is winkled and bubbly. Whirlpool faucet and handles loose and wobbly. The TVs are older than the first edition Keurig coffee machine. AC works great in every room except the master bedroom, it doesn’t work at all. All agreed the mattresses could be updated. Balcony patio furniture has seen its days.

Amazing Condo

The pictures online didn't do any justice. The view was amazing. It was peaceful and central to where we needed to go. There were some snags, but they did fix them, which is what mattered. I would overall recommend the condo.

We was located in a great geographic location. Ocean is absolutely gorgeous. The two balconies one facing the lake and other facing the Gulf was a great feature that is usually hard to come by. Can't wait till next visit.

Beautiful

We went with another family so in total there were 10 of us (6 kids). This place was perfect. Each set of adults were able to have their own master suite and it seemed like when the kids were in their room we couldn’t even hear them arguing haha. Sitting on the balcony was our favorite thing to do. Being right on the beach was definitely a plus but we also took advantage of the pool which was nice when the waves were too large for the little ones but we still wanted to swim. The A/C wasn’t working in one of the rooms but when I brought it up the maintenance man set up a temporary A/C within just a few hours. Even though it didn’t look very pretty, it did the job and the room stayed cool the rest of the week. We were hoping to be able to do an early check in. By the time we got the approval to check in it was 3:30 so we didn’t get to actually check in until 4, our original check in time. My only suggestions for the property management would be to check consistency between the app I was told to download and the papers in the condo. There were a few things different. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great place but should hire new cleaning service

The property was perfect. The location was great and it was big enough for 10 people. The only complaint I have is how dirty it was. The floor didn’t seem like it was clean at all. We couldn’t walk anywhere on the floor carpet included with out our feet turning black. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned well at all. There seemed to be black mold in the 2nd master bath and all of the drains wouldn’t barely drain. I think maybe the company should hire a different cleaning company. They did offer to come in and clean the floor again, but I didn’t want people in there after we had just unloaded everything and had 4 kids running around. It really should have been done correctly the first time especially since we weren’t able to check in until 5:20 Other then the cleanliness issue the property was great! Perfect view, perfect location!
