As you open the door to this fourth-floor beachfront condo at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, you'll immediately feel the allure of your perfect ESCAPE. Recently redecorated by the owners, the property boasts new floor tile, bedroom carpeting, a tile backsplash in the kitchen, new furniture, and fresh paint throughout, exuding a bright, airy, crisp, and fresh ambiance.

The new living room sofa features a lounger, ideal for soaking in the beautiful beach view, and also includes a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping arrangements. Step onto your private balcony and indulge in breathtaking views, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a refreshing cocktail in the evening.

The Master Bedroom offers a King Sized Bed and a private master bath. With recently upgraded mattresses and a new Smart TV, you can enjoy ultimate comfort and entertainment. Open the sheer draperies to reveal an amazing panoramic view of the beach. The Second Bedroom features twin beds and a tub/shower combo.

The fully-furnished Kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals for those relaxing evenings after a day of swimming in the Gulf or lounging by the pool. The dining area comfortably seats six at the table, with two additional bar stools.

We had an incredibly disappointing and stressful experience with Platinum Vacations, and unfortunately cannot recommend booking with them.We discovered bed bugs in the bedroom—a serious and disturbing issue. We were traveling with a baby, which made this situation even more upsetting and difficult to manage. The bites were painful and unpleasant, and weeks later, I’m still dealing with the effects of the bites I received during that stay.To their credit, the property manager responded quickly and moved us to another unit. However, having to pack everything up and move with an infant was incredibly inconvenient and stressful—especially since we were only just settling in. Unfortunately, the second unit had a broken air conditioning system, and once again, we were offered another move. At that point, we decided to leave altogether and booked a hotel at our own expense.Only after all of this—bed bugs, multiple moves, and no working AC—was a refund offered.While the manager communicated professionally, the situation was unacceptable. Bed bugs should never be an issue in a professionally managed vacation rental. The lack of proper inspection, the poor condition of the second unit, and the overall disruption to our trip were incredibly frustrating.We will not be booking with Platinum Vacations again.

The perfect way to end our summer!

This was a last minute vacation for our family of 4 before school starts and it was wonderful! Everything was easy, beautiful, and convenient for our stay! We loved the condo and how close it was to everything we wanted to do. The beach is beautiful and the pool is great right off the beach. The beach chair rental company is right off the beach access and they were very nice and helpful all week. The condo has beautiful views, is exactly as described and just perfect for our family. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back next summer.

Family Weekend

Wonderful views but lacked in accurate accommodations due to broken sleeper sofa. Needs lots of maintenance work due to moldy walls and damage from possible leaks. Had nasty issues with bugs especially in the master bedroom. The place had a very strong Clorox/ clean smell when we first arrived but soon became a rotten smell the next two days. The main bathroom shower door frame is not securely attached. Way too many problems to deal with for a weekend getaway

Great view. Nice pool and hot tub. Check in and out was easy. Comfy beds and linens. I recommend staying here. One suggestion is having a couple of beach chairs and beach toys in the closet.

Overall a good experience. Condo could be a little cleaner and maintained a little better. There was a plate of food under the bed from previous renters. Drain in master sink and second bath tub did not drain well. Smoke detector beeped in the middle of night which can be prevented. We bought batteries and changed it for the next person. Older appliances. Refrigerator cover was broken and falling off. Broken beach chair in closet. Pretty condo but could use some upkeep.

Perfect!

The condo was beautiful, and the view was gorgeous. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of drawer/storage space. This building has a private beach with security that keeps non-residents from setting up tents which was a plus since the adjacent beach was ridiculously crowded. The pool and pool furniture was very nice. Property management was very responsive to the one issue we had with the stove while we were there. The worst complaint I have is dull kitchen scissors! (-; We will absolutely be back!

Great Complex, Good Unit

We had a wonderful stay in unit 4048 -- we really appreciated the Beachside One amenities and not-very-crowded beach and pool. It's close to restaurants and Publix, and we would definitely stay at Sandestin again. Parking was a challenge at times because of work being done to the parking lot, but that should be short-term issue. However, as you'll see in reviews below, the appliances in the unit are old and although we followed instructions by not overloading the refrigerator it never stayed cold enough to keep our milk from going bad in 4 days, and the dryer doesn't work well enough to dry swimsuits (we didn't overload it). So, if you're planning on being able to wash clothing and towels in the evenings, make sure there has been a replacement or repair to the machine.

Pick this one and you will have picked a winner!

Condo unit: This unit was clean, fresh, open, roomy, well equipped and had a beautiful view. Check in and out was easy. All done by keypad. Condo: The pool was just renovated 7/3/21 and was modern and relaxing. The condo is on a private beach (with security). During the busy time in July we actually had space around us on the beach and in the ocean which was not the case for the surrounding beach area. Location: This condo is on a lovely property that offers putt-putt golf, golf, tennis, basketball and many trails for running or biking. You can easily drive to the Publix grocery, restaurants and the main area of Destin. If you don't want to drive hop on the ffree tram/shuttle and head to Baytown Warf to shop, eat and drink. Also, you can take short walk on the beach to The Beach House restaurant which offers live music good food and drinks.

Beach Family vacation

We enjoyed the quality of the property and our unit. It was the right size to provide privacy and space with two teenage boys. We felt comfortable with the safety on letting the boys hang out on their own at the beach or basketball court. I would recommend two improvements, the basketball goals need to be repaired, one was missing the backboard. The dryer in our unit was not functioning very well, even after we kept cleaning the filter. With so many beach towels to wash it was impossible to get them dry.

Family vacation

This place was perfect for our vacation. Location was wonderful and close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Unfortunately, my brother suffered a kidney stone during our stay and the ER was also close to our condo!! I don’t recommend that🤪🤪

Nice location and very comfortable condo

Unit was very clean and wonderful view of ocean. It could use some updating, and we were disappointed to find that the dryer did not work, as this was mentioned in a review from last Fall. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Safe area with lots to do close by. Overall a very nice stay!

I will come back again is very nice

What I liked most about the property is that everything was close to the beach, pool, jacuzzi, shops and restaurants. Very comfortable beds. The floor was badly cleaned greasy, the blainds that is next to the entrance door was barely put, with the wind they fell to the ground, it would be great if it had better knives to cut. The dryer took up to 5 hours to dry the clothes because it doesn't dry well.
