If you are looking for a Destin home that offers you incredible space and is perfect for a large family vacation, our 5 bedroom, 3 bath vacation rental that sleeps up to 14 is just the spot for you and your family! You’ll also find many attractive features in our spacious beach residence: Community allows only 2 cars for parking.

-Carefree check in so that you go right to this home (except during Spring Break)
-Approximately 2312 square feet of living space
-Large 2nd floor covered balcony
-Living room is open to the kitchen and dining area and offers queen sleeper sofa
-Fully equipped Kitchen including blender, coffeemaker, toaster and more!
-Master Bedroom is located on the 1st floor has KING bed
-Master Bath on the 1st floor
-2nd bedroom is upstairs and has a King bed
-The 2nd bath is located upstairs and the shower and the commode are separated from the toilet and vanity so you don't tie them up unnecessarily
-3rd bedroom is upstairs and has a QUEEN bed

This home includes a credit based on the duration of your stay for additional amenities offered by VayKGear such as bikes, paddleboards, games and chairs. You will receive a notification after you confirm your reservation with additional details.

Guests will need to pay $30 per group for their pool bands provided by the Beach Attendant.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property. During Spring Break , the minimum acceptable ratio is one (1) person 25 years of age for every two (2) persons under 25 years of age.

Excellent Vacation- Thank You Much!!

We have stayed in the Emerald Shores neighborhood for many years, and this was the first time in this home. Tucked away in the corner, the house was perfect for our needs. One issue with the HVAC on a Sunday night, and the Management Team was all over it within minutes. Great communication and superb location make this a great house for a vacation.

Beach Trip!!

The cottage is breathtaking! From the arrival through the checkin/checkout processes, all were above average. The only detractors from what otherwise would have been a 5-Star rating are the carpet and the grill gas tank was completely empty. I would be willing to pay a slightly more for gas for the grill. Everything else was very enjoyable. The short walk to the beach and the surrounding area was phenomenal!

Great stay for family gathering

Beautiful location, super clean property. It was very comfortable for 8 adults (including 4 senior citizens) and 2 children (3, 5). Easy to walk to the beach with the kids; the beach was fantastic. The kids appreciated the sand toys that were available at the house to take along, too. Well-equipped kitchen that made Thanksgiving food preparation much easier. There was plenty of parking available, and it was quiet and peaceful in the neighborhood during our stay. Very timely communication from property management when we had questions. It would have been helpful to have somewhat clearer directions for arriving at the back gate to the community instead of the front gate which was not accessible with code. We would stay here again without a doubt, really great!

Accommodating

We really liked this property. It has 5 bedrooms with sleeping arrangements that accommodated all 12 of us with age ranges from 13-74 boys and girls. The beds were comfortable. There is only one bedroom on the first floor which we gave to the older couple in our group. However, the bed was very high. They had to get a stool to get in especially with their age and physical issues. We would suggest putting a patio set in the back. We had to move the front chairs to sit in the shady back area while grilling. No furniture at all in the back. The AC worked awesome in this extreme heat. Surprisingly, the 2nd floor stayed very cool. We were not too pleased with the “private” beach. You are almost forced to book rentals to sit close to the water. You can’t set up to the left or right as that is also “private.” We like to use our own chairs and umbrellas. I just wish there weren’t so many rentals set up. We took advantage of the beach gear credit through VayK Gear. We rented two bikes and corn hole. We didn’t use all of our available credit and still had to pay the delivery fee. It was only $16 out of pocket for the delivery and taxes and the teens enjoyed it so it was worth it. All in all, the place is great and we have rented houses in Emerald Shores for over 30 years and plan to continue. We would rent this property again if needed.

Nice house and safe neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay and liked the beach equipment deal. The worse part was the "private beach" where we couldn't even see the water. There were so many expensive beach rentals set up in front that we were stuck at the back. We only went once, then started driving to better beach areas. I also had an issue with reaching the number listed to report issues. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

Great beach house!!!!!

This place was great for a crowd! Upstairs bathrooms designed for efficiency ! Showers are separate from toilets and sinks. Easy walk to beach. Quiet neighborhood, heated pool. Would definitely rent this place again. Management co was polite and helpful.

Great house!

Great house,very clean . Felt safe in the commnity.easy walk & drive to the beach. It had 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms , loved that the upstairs bathroom toilets were separate to the toilets! Genius! I can’t wait to go back next year!!

Nice house big enough for our entire family. Only thing i wish was that there would be additional parking area other that pool. Seems like alot of people bring more than the allowed 2 cars and theres no area to park cars.

We had no concerns or problems during our stay. I was a little concerned from previous reviews but everything was great and didn't have to report any issues. We love this neighborhood and have stayed in this area for many years. We will be returning.

Nice place

The house was a perfect size. The driveway is difficult to get in and out from (we have large vehicles). It was nice to see a gorilla cart was provided to haul our stuff to the beach...and they have a golf cart shuttle service. That was nice because it is a trek to the beach access. There were underwears left in the dryer. The kitchen sink came undone from the counter. We reached out to the after hours number..only could leave a voicemail, then someone sent me text saying no one could come out until the next day. The next morning i reached out to that number...no response..called the other number provided during check in...no answer. I then called the 800# online and had to try each option to finally get someone on the line. She was sweet and immediately got someone to call me. It was fixed a few hours later... to then get a text from the person that texted me the night before to say I think its done. Other than that the place was great and clean. Also, there are no pot holders to take things out of the oven. We will rent again.

Great Vacation House for Large Family

This was a wonderful house for our extended family of 8. It is just across the street from the heated pool and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. It had great space for meals and spending time together. Great place!

Spacious and clean

Loved the location and the house. I did read that the dryer didn't real work but we figured out how to get our clothes dry! You have to put about 10 pieces of clothes at one time and only put it on 30min(high heat) and repeat that every 15 min. Because once it gets past the 20 minute mark it stops drying. We didn't have any complaints about anything except maybe that most of the outlets were a bit loose and the water in one of the upstairs bathrooms didn't fill up very fast.other than that it was wonderful!

We were hesitant about renting this place due to the negative reviews, but we gave it a shot. We had to buy more toilet paper, and the room with the bunk beds only had 1 outlet to work. We had to fix the garbage disposal because the sink wouldn't drain, the far shower upstairs wouldn't drain, and the dryer wouldn't dry unless on "time dry". instructions were left that you couldn't put the thermostat lower than 70. Then the instructions on the counter said we had to pay an additional $30 to use the pool and get an armband. That should be included when you spending so much money. We didn't pay it because we didn't see anyone with one on. Overall the place is big enough if you have a large group. The actual bed situation: king downstairs and bathroom, king upstairs, 2 rooms with queens/full, and 1 room with 2 sets of bunkbeds. 2 bathrooms, the shower and toilets are separate. It's not a bad walk to beach access, but it is a walk. They provided a cart for beach toys and stuff. However, the beach access is not accessible for someone in a wheelchair. No ramo, just stairs. The unit is basically right across from the pool.
