Clean but needs updating

We stayed here last minute on Fall Break. We got in on a discount because of the last minute booking but had we paid full price, I would have been disappointed. Several pieces of furniture were broken or in serious disrepair. There was a handle to a bathroom door that wouldn't work from the inside and our kids consistantly got locked in the bathroom. The views were amazing and it was clean. I liked the restaurant downstairs and the live music. Very cool! It was a chore to get to the beach as the beach shuttle does not run after labor day (something not specified in the resort info). Beach chairs were complementary but it was also a huge process to get those each morning. Someone had to go stand in a line each morning to get "assigned" a set of chairs- you couldn't just tell them you wanted them for the week. Overall, I was pleased but the seriously discounted price allowed for a lot of grace on the other things.

Great location and clean. Simple and served its purpose.. easy check in and out... the only recommendation is to add a foam top for the mattresses as the beds were a little uncomfortable. Overall an ok stay!!
