Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches. "The cabin i stayed in was as good as new.wonderfully smiley cleaner. Very helpful staff. Made an effort for me. I only stayed for 1 night so it worked perfectly for me. Convenient bus stop. Big carpark, large family orientated garden. Practical. As u would expect from urban setting not the most beautiful."

"We were given a different room to the one we booked. The room was smelling strongly of air freshener to cover the smell from the drains. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The evening meal was awful and took over 2hrs for 2 courses, the waitress ended up in tears after all the complaints. The receptionist tried her best to sort things out but was fighting a loosing battle. All in all not a good stay, luckily we only stayed one night - never again!!!"

"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. "The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "
