"I’ve wanted to stay at the Webbington for years. Every time I’ve driven past on the M5 I’ve looked across and wondered what it was like.
My dad was mildly annoyed when I told him we’d finally stayed — apparently I’ve beaten him to it after about 60 years of meaning to go!
Fate eventually brought us here when my wife became unwell while we were travelling home and we decided it was much more sensible to stop for the night.

"The room was beautifully decorated and well maintained. We had a lovely view over the hills. The staff were helpful and accommodating.
We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely but we did have a substantial wait (45+ minutes) which we were not warned about.
Overall a lovely place to stay, I would go there again."

"The pub is an old building, therefore there are things that cannot be changed, so if you are a light sleeper and cannot use ear plugs this may not be for you. It was not an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, we had one evening meal there, breakfast was perfect, they were very accommodating by tweaking the menu to what you prefer.
Very close to the caves and gorge, easy to access other attractions."

"The hotel is very dated. Every floor board creaked and I’m glad I had an end room and no one could walk past the room. I fear it would be very noisy. There is no air con in the rooms and in 32 degree heat that makes for an uncomfortable stay. Reception did give me a fan but that was useless."

"As has been the case on previous trips the room was ample for our needs. The hotel is well positioned and is good value for money, however the rooms are starting to feel a little tired with an example being our toilet seat being broken. Evening meals can be unpredictable, and breakfast during this stay was sparse with hot items looking like they’d been sitting there for some time and no white bread available.
