"The wifi was very slow and unreliable. Reception was closed from 8pm to 9am which made it difficult to raise the issue. The hot water was boiling hot in the shower - needs a temperature reducing valve to be compliant. The bed was very soft, and the curtains and carpet very thin. Bathroom very dated. The heater worked. Mostly functional, definitely not luxurious."

"When I contacted the hotel a couple times for my reservation, and asked if there is a front desk person to assist with my check in, the two person who answered my calls kept saying that they cannot find my reservation. After over hour waiting at the front of the hotel at a 49 degrees cold weather at 11:00 pm they finally said that they found it and someone handed me the key to my room."

"La ubicación del hotel es perfecta porque se haya en el centro del pueblo, pegada a la galería comercial . Enfrente tienes la estación de buses y el í site visitor Centre. A nosotros nos tocó una habitación en el piso 10 y la verdad que las vistas eran muy buenas, ya que daban al parque y al reloj del parque. Lo malo del hotel varias cosas, primero el wifi es de pago y hoy en día en un hotel de ėstos características no se puede permitir, la TV es un monitor de ordenador que sólo emite 5 canales...

"First time here and relaxing, peaceful and local stay in Palmy.
Check in was no fuss, room immaculate and clean, had an iron and ironing board, everything we needed amd so local to restaurants, mall, city centre.
We had Room 7. The only downfall was the Spa, we loved that it was a private Spa that could at least 4 of us, but the temperature was more like warm than hot.
Other than that, a great stay, we'll come back here for sure."

"The reviews are 100% correct about this place. Checkin was fast and friendly. Our room was spotless. Having sky sports in the room was great to watch the Wahs and the All Blacks games. The heat pump kept us toasty and warm for our winter stay. We would definitely come and stay here again!"

"Location was walking distance to supermarket, burger king, garages and township also.
Check in easy and hosts friendly.
Establishment was dated but surfice,
rooms cleaned well & comfy bed.
Unfortunately I was dissapointed over the stench of what I believe were smelly carpets, no underlay for comfort and odour throughout the room in curtains, furniture.
Comfy double bed. Enjoyed jetted bath, but lack of utensils in kitchenette made it more frustrating.
Paid fair price 3 nights stay but very...
