Escape to Hunter Valley at Thallan Cottage. Pet-Friendly Outdoor Baths & Firepit
Thallan Cottage is situated along Mount View Road leading you up towards Mount View and Pokolbin Wineries - with outdoor bathtubs! Thallan cottage has a 180-degree deck boasting views down the valley towards Wollombi and Pokolbin mountain ranges, overlooking rolling hills, dams, cows and kangaroos. Central location close to wineries and activities, whilst also offering seclusion, nature, amazing sunsets and stargazing!
THE COTTAGE…
- Completing renovated to new, with new appliances.
- 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed.
- Bed linen, towels and amenities included for number of guests nominated on the reservation.
- 1 fully renovated bathroom, plus an additional toilet (2 toilets).
- Outdoor fire pit area (firewood upon request and subject to firebans).
- 2 x outdoor Baths, with hot and cold water.
- Open plan entertainment with French doors flowing onto the outdoor covered and open decks.
EXTRA’S…
- Linen, bed sheets, towels and amenities are provided for the number of guests nominated on your reservation/booking.
- Reverse Cycle air conditioning in each bedroom
- 3 x large smart TV’s to access Netflix, YouTube and other smart apps (not connected to local tv network, needs mobile phone reception (exc. vodaphone)).
- Off street parking for 4 cars, (extra bikes, motor bikes and caravan upon request to arrange for storage/gates to be unlocked)
- Array of fruit trees - Mulberry, Apple, orange and Mandarin trees when in season.
OUR HOUSE RULES:
Please see the house rules. As per the new Short Term Rental Accommodation Legislation Act 2020 NSW - all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.
- This is a no party property, The maximum amount of guests staying are allowed.
- NOISE. This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbors. Please respect our home and neighbors. NO NOISE is permitted after 9pm, please keep noise levels down.
- Smoking: Smoking is permitted, but ONLY in lower garden, NOT in the cottage, on the deck or in front veranda.
- Please note we do not own the land with cows on it, land to the rear and surrounding the cottage. No Access is allowed on the surrounding land. The adjoining gate is locked for safety concerns and privacy issues. Any trespassing will be reported.
- Dog friendly, we love that we can take our puppies on holidays, but we just need to remember to clean up after them. Dogs are only allowed outside, NOT INSIDE. Dogs permitted upon request. Please clean up after your fur baby. If any dog hair, dropping or muddy paws are left behind, the cleaning team will need to charge an extra cleaning fee.
