"Location was convenient to VMI. Lovely mountain views. Breakfast was simple but delicious. We ran out of hand towels and shampoo, went to the front desk and asked, and they were delivered withint 10 minutes. This is our 3rd stay here and we are booked for another. Animals are allowed. "

"Kitchen was well stocked. Apartment had nice mix of modern appliances and cozy antique furnishings. Check In & check out was easy. Off-street parking was available. Great coffee shop right across the street. Traffic outside is a bit busy, but you don't hear it from the bedroom of the apartment. I'd stay there again for my next visit to the area."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hillcrest Mansion! Martha was an amazing host! We arrived late, but she greeted us at the door and showed us around. The house and the room were beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and the service was fantastic! We want to come back and will definitely recommend Martha’s place to our friends."

"Initially, a little difficult to find because of street address. Seems that odd and even numbers are on both sides of the street. Should tell people that because most are in their car while trying to see the numbers. I loved the convenience of parking to my room. Bed very comfy. Bathroom attractive. "Taps" convenient. Had limited menu, but all I needed."

"Very nice breakfast buffet which included healthy options such as fresh fruit salad, yogurt and granola, eggs from hens on the premises, oatmeal and other hot foods. Also had dinner at the Inn which was very good. Cottage room was spacious, very clean and well-appointed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ample free parking."

"The only issue we had was we booked 2 rooms as we were traveling with inlaws. The rooms were not side by side. Had i known this i should have booked them in my name instead of brother inlaws name. The staff was great but nothing they could do upon arrival. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. "
