"This was our first trip to Maine and we had a great time staying here at this charming cottage. The host was very responsive and all amenities were as advertised. The location is great, being nestled along the back part of the bay where we could watch the fisherman work and wake up to deer and bird songs every morning. We even got to see a baby fox and porcupine in the neighborhood. Travel to nearby Acadia and Schoodic is not far. Our top pick for places to visit would be Quoody Head State Park...

"This is a beautiful well kwpt home! It was very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed! Easy to communicate! The view of the water and Down East coastline was especially spectacular from the upstairs bedroom. The property is private and safe! We loved our stay!!! Highly recommend this property!!!! "Cute little house away from the Bar Harbor mess. Host clearly loves the area and provides a wealth of useful information. House is immaculate and in like new condition. Very nicely decorated and well equipped. Only negative is the the two stair cases are steep and would not be a good choice for someone with limited mobility."
