"After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered.
I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop.
It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper.
Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. "

"We were in room 12 which was lovely and warm as always, love the shower in the Bathroom power shower ample hot water, and nice comfy bed, this wasn't our first stay there as, we love the friendly atmosphere and the staff are very helpful, great views especially from the resturant with it's picture windows looking out onto the North Sea.
Looking foward to our stay later in the year again, might opt for one of the sea view rooms which are slightly bigger in size.
A cooked breakfast is included or...

"What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine."

"The staff is so friendly and accomodating, they take the best care of their guests. Room was cleaned and done while I had my breakfast. Breakfast and dinners are of fantastic quality in this restaurant which has won many aeards and even included in Michelin guides. The area is very silent and peaceful, with grazing cows across the road and sand besches and dunes very close by. If I have to mention any downsides, it's that the bed doesn't have the best back support and the room is a bit humid due...

"Hôtel très sympa avec le bar et resto au rdc et les chambres à l’étage. Un peu ma insonorisé, nous avons entendu les portes claquer très fort dans la nuit probablement à la fermeture du bar. Mais autrement, un parking relativement grand, en février nous n’avons pas eu de problème pour se trouver une place mais en période estivale cela peut être plus difficile, cela dit c’est très proche du centre-ville. Chambre grande et confortable avec une douche également très grande et moderne."
