"Basic things that were neglected or done poorly 1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldn’t get in - enough said 2) no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows can’t be open. Rooms are hot, stuffy and poorly ventilated- would have been helpful to have that piece on information on...

"Such a brillaint place to stay. Was a freezing, rainy and windy day when we arrived. We entered the room which was clean and tidy with comfy pillows. Turned the oil heater on which warmed the room up quick smart and had the tempreture remain the same. Great place"

Perfect for the chilly weather and to meet our friendly residents - pademelon mum and baby, the rowdy pied currawong couple, hungry echidna and a very persistent brushtail possum who tried to push his way into the cabin when we wanted to get a log for our fire. The vintage DVDs were god-send - thank you. We managed to beat the crowd and avoid the shuttle by heading into the park early - but remember to display...

"We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. "We stayed in the house and not a cabin. Facilities in the kitchen and bathroom were good, and the bed very comfy. Clean conditions. Very quiet area. BYO extras like tea/coffee, soap/shampoo though. Thanks for the stay - Deb was courteous and helpful."
