"The property doesn't over-promise and it worked out great for our purpose, which was to have a "home base" while visiting family nearby. While the kitchen and deck were great to have, I would't plan on spending too much time in the house as it is quite small! Great deck, relative privacy for the development. The Beachwalk resort itself seems good for families, we were a bit out of place as a group of four adults! Awesome beach access. Certainly preferable location-wise as compared with hotels in...

So while she watched a movie and read a book, I went and ran the trails at Indiana Dunes! There was shopping right across the street! Also, DO NOT leave food laying around...there are little sand ants that will find your food!!!"

"Great location next to wonderful beach. Reasonable amenities were included in a much smaller than expected "vintage" house. Four bedrooms that were squeezed in were at the expense of closets and a washer and dryer."

"I found a used face mask crumpled up by the tv. The towels in the linen closet on the second shelf were still soaking wet but folded. This property isn’t intended for a vacation rather, more of a crash pad. For what we paid, it wasn’t worth it."
