Hotel was good for the pinch we were in (first hotel shut doors 4 weeks before our visit).
The room and bathroom were small but functional. No dresser drawers and only a few hangers, but we made do for 3 days. The safe was on the floor and there was no place to hang our wet towels.
Bar & restaurant are open 3pm to 11pm (I think?) so I was surprised when I went to the bar at 9:30 our first night and was told the kitchen was closed and the bar was closing too. I understand wanting to close early, yet this is a hotel with posted hours of service for the bar and restaurant so I was very disappointed.
Front desk staff wasn’t very friendly at all during our stay. It was like we were bothering them when we checked in, when we asked to buy some beer from the “convenience store” (locked up) or when we dropped our room keys whenwere checking out (no “hope you enjoyed your stay” or “safe travels”).
Continental breakfast was “ok”. The line for waffles was always long but there was a good selection of other items. Stay away from the eggs that look like discs - we tried the make breakfast sandwiches with them twice and each time the eggs were still half frozen.
Like I said, this hotel served its purpose for the 3 days we needed it for, but I probably won’t stay there again.
