the worst check in!

My experience at this place was extremely disappointing. Check-in was an absolute nightmare, taking three hours to complete, which set a terrible tone for the stay. On top of that, the property was not clean—it was far below any acceptable standard of hygiene.I would not recommend this property to anyone, and I hope the host takes these issues seriously to improve the experience for future guests.

Check in was a mess waited over an hour online No response to early check in request meanwhile traveling with a two year old they wouldnt allow us to come in early Ac was leaking all over the floor called to have ir repaired and it did it again Appliances were really old Would never go here again

It would behoove you as a potential guest, to continue to scroll and select a different property. At check- in, the hostess never contacted us to ensure everything was ok. The hostess did not return phone calls, texts or email from the booking site (even though there is an opportunity to communicate with the hostess via the booking site). It was cold in the condo and there was no way to turn the a/c off (the temps were in the low 60s). We had issues with the hot water not getting hot and there was one point when we needed a plunger, but we never received it. We poured two pots of boiling water in the toilet and the toilet finally drained. We asked the front desk for a plunger, but they informed us that we needed to contact our hostess. We informed the front desk that our hostess was not returning calls, texts, and emails, but the front desk let us know that there was nothing they could do for us. There was no wi-fi either!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

By the end of our stay this place had grown on us, but initial impressions were terrible. Expect a very busy (chaotic) arrival, valet, lobby and pool. Using the valet was undesirable but required, they lost keys, and took over 30 minutes to get the car leading us to be late to dinners and there was a line each night we returned. The workers were trying, but the system needs and overhaul. The elevators are slow and confusing, but once you figure it out youll be ok. The juccuzzi pool side was gated off, clearly out of order for a while, security was pretty good about making sure random people werent strolling through, but the beach side gate was never locked. Access to the sand is amazing, and its beautiful once you get down there. Collins Blvd is great, there are buses and a free trolley (inconsistent). We were able to walk to one place for breakfast, otherwise you need to taxi or drive every where else. The "restaurant" in the building was so backed up, they warned us, but we waited 90 minutes for 2 egg sandwiches. There seemed to be a problem in the kitchen, as there were only like 5 parties waiting so it didnt seem to make sense. In and around town we experienced a lot of traffic, so know to give yourselves extra time. Re the apartment, the lobby looks fancy, but the hallways, walls, floors etc were a mess, dirty, cracked, smelly. The apartment had limited cosmetic upkeep for example, cracked and rotting tiles in the bathroom, a broken sink faucet. The beach charis and umbrella were flimsy, and one was broken when we got there. They only provided 2 bath towels each and 1 beach towel, and encouraged us to do laundry if we wanted. To the owner, might we also suggest a place to hang multiple towels so that they dry nicely? One bed was more comfy than the other, the inside room is nice and dark, the one by the window, holy cow sunlight! The living and dining area was comfortable. Overall, we feel like you get what you pay for and we almost dont blame the owner for not further investing in the space (with upkeep).

Fun Place

Other than the horrible experiences at the Blue Gin Restaurant and the fact that the Tili Bar closes so early, it was a great time. Fun pool area and great area. I just wish there was a concierge or someone to help suggest places to eat.

Dealing with Vacasa was very pleasant. I will say the security that checks you in at the property is slow and unprofessional. In addition to that the blinds were missing in living room, beds were hard, and place smelled like mildew. Pool was nice……..

Don’t recommend

First off, the pictures were much better than the actual place. Communication with the rental manager was off & on, sometimes they’d answer right away & others not at all. They boast floor to ceiling windows but the blinds were so messed up there was huge gaps in the blinds so wouldn’t close & had no privacy or sun protection. There’s parking but you have to use valet service & you’d have to wait to get your car & drop off your car. The longest we waited was 32 minutes to get our car. Plus there were small issues like the sink & tub did not drain well, there was an iron but no ironing board etc… & we were told the local management were alerted to our issues on the first night then we never heard anything about them again. Very disappointing stay 👎

I’m coming back

Our stay here was great I was celebrating my birthday with my lady and my two friends it was amazing I definitely want to come back for another stay here the room was beautiful, clean, the beach access and the pool was perfect.

This place is not near as nice as made put to be. Building is old, unit is cheap as is the furniture. Blinds dont close, water leaks. On main street with lots of construction. Pool only has a few chairs. Code to neach gate was wrong. Ceiling and walls were dirty. You wait 20 minutes to get your car from valet even when noone else is waiting. Cable doeant work well. Even usa was locked with code. Defitnely not worth the money

I really loved the location of this hotel. I enjoyed being directly on the beach

I did not have any negative experience with this property. I just want to thank the owners for allowing me to stay here. Only have one suggestion. Just add a splash of color to walls or Decor and it will be a bit more inviting other than that I will stay again.

Perfect Location

I love everything about this property. Very safe & centrally located to everything that you need within walking distance. Everyone was so friendly & helpful. What I love most us that the beach is steps right next to the pool. I would definitely stay here again when I go back to visit South Beach.

Eine schöne Wohnung. Einzige Kritik: Von den vier Herdplatten funktionierten nur ein bis zwei. Sonst alles prima.

Beautiful beach, good location, nice building

Condo: pros condo was in a quiet convenient location in mid beach on a low level floor. Cons: This condo provided only the basic needs and furnishings. No towel service. This condo requires LOTS of work. The floors are destroyed (water damage?) and the kitchen requires updating. This condo needs a good cleaning as well. Any repair jobs done were not done properly. Painting around door handles etc. No washer or dryer in the unit the room was empty besides 2 beach chairs and 2 pool noodles. Building: elevator was quick, main areas were very clean, security was visible. Our hallway however was not vacuumed the whole week. Some small garbage that was on the carpet outside our door remained there until the day we left. Our hallway off the main hallway was neglected. Valet: mostly efficient. One evening we waited over 30 minutes for our car. After many people after us were receiving their cars and we were not we asked several attendants they had no clue. When we tried enquiring with the lady in the booth she also had no clue and pretended to not understand us. We were told 2 more cars after 8 cars they finally brought up our car. No apology for the mixup or explanation. Pool: clean and well kept. There was a fouling and a technician closed down the pool for the day and treated the water. Lots of chairs and sunny & shady areas. Pool attendant checks for guest bands and keeps everyone informed of the rules. No floats not even pool noodles. Basically very little fun. There isn't a kids hour where they can play freely. Key code is needed to get from the beach to the pool area. Beach: beautiful and clean. Not very crowded in the area. Quick walk from the building to the beach. Riki Tiki bar and grill. Service was ok! some days they seemed under staffed. Food was good. Nice fun atmosphere. Vacasa the company I rented from offered great communication via email before we arrived. Check in was on site. Early checkin was offered as was late check out for a nominal fee.

Near miss

The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff at the Castle Beach were very nice and courteous. We had spring breakers next to us and had loud banging on the walls at 3 a.m. on night. As for the unit, the flooring may have had water damage at one point. The flooring was warped and had large gaps that exposed the concrete beneath. There was no laundry in unit, no hangers and the windows did not open. The unit had an odor and because we couldn't open the windows, we couldn't air it out. We purchased Fabreze for our stay and left it for future guests. We were short on an extra blanket when it was cold and windy during our stay. Appliances are old but work properly.

Good location if you do not want to be in all the craziness of the strip

The property was okay for the price but the rooms were out dated. The check in process took way too long and needs improvement the security guard should not be also responsible for checking in guests as well. Other than that the stay was good.
