Stay was okay but building was terrible

The apartment was okay, but the building was an issue. The employees seemed unapologetic about having only 1 working elevator, our entire stay, with a twenty-minute wait anytime you needed to use one. We walked up 16 flights of stairs with luggage, and same for when we departed. I would not recommend this building.

Host issues

When we got to the hotel the host didn’t have us registered for the room we spent over an hr after check in time waiting on the host when we finally got into the room hair was left in the bathrooms the shower curtain was dirty laundry was left in a pile on the bed with additional laundry in the dryer. We had 2 bath clothes throughout our 12 night stay never once did housekeeping check in none of the remotes worked due to dead batteries. Otherwise the environment was very peaceful and quiet and the room was as pictured

Coconut Grove!!

The area is great, restaurants, nightlife, cafes, shops, and boutiques. The property has an amazing pool, pool staff and view from pool. Parking was never a problem. Unit was very decent. The washer and dryer were a huge plus.

Great location, great host, and nice unit

We recently spent a week at this unit in Coconut Grove. The location of the unit is fantastic - everything is walking distance including CocoWalk, restaurants, Peacock Park, etc. Parking is included, which is major plus for the area. The unit itself is nice and kept up pretty well.

Perfect

My wife and I stayed here for one week vacationing and helping our son get set-up at college. It was perfect in every way. First, the location was ideal. Coconut Grove is close to the University of Miami campus and the building is situated just off the water with outstanding views in all directions. Downtown Miami is not far with Little Havana (15 mins) and Southbeach (25 minutes) within easy driving distance. Plus, downtown Coconut Grove is fun with lots of bars and restaurants to enjoy, along with nice park just across the street. My son even played pick-up ball at the park with local kids. Everything feels very safe. The description of the apartment is spot on. It was clean upon our arrival and everything worked. Having a second bathroom was nice, and we really enjoyed the balcony. Beds are always a wildcard, but we found the king bed to be very comfortable. Plus, the apartment comes with one parking pass in the building garage! The building has a gorgeous pool and hot tub located on the 8th floor. The water was great in both and the views overlooking the bay are stunning. We typically visited in the early evening or before dusk, and the pool was rarely busy. The apartment is located on the 9th floor, making it easy to get to the pool via the stairs. We also began parking on Level 6 of the garage so we could use the stairs if we wanted. This was really nice because the one issue with the building during our stay were the elevators. They were not working one evening, and during the other days the elevators were slow or very full when they did show up due to one elevator being out of commission. I know the building was working on the issues, so this was likely just a timing thing. Bottom line -- this apartment was great and we really enjoyed our stay. With our son at school nearby we will certainly be back.

A great stay!

We had a wonderful time in Miami. Defintely a cute place to stay in! I loved the balcony and having the extra half bath. The bathtub is also jetted, which was awesome! The host was also very good with the communication side of things as well. Would recommend!

Nice property for a family.

This unit is clean. This unit is functional for a small family. 2 bathrooms, a separate bedroom and a pull out bed make the unit feel roomy. A table and chairs can be used for meals and for games. The washer and dryer are convenient to dry suits and towels after swimming.

I love the place, perfect location, definitely vey convenience to have a parking permit

I love this place very much in a perfect location and close to everything to walking distance! Neighborhood is safe, pool is very nice and also beautiful views!! Lots of things to do! And places to go! I’ll definitely come back in my next trip and stay again! The owner Catalina is very nice and always respond to my text and question pretty fast! Easy to check in and out! And plenty of space to park at no charge with a special parking permit that you will get from the owner! Very convenience. We have a very nice time and really enjoy this condo. It have everything you will need with a full kitchen, full bathroom and a convenience half a bathroom specially if you bring kids! Thank you Catalina for all your help! Beatriz

We stayed at this unit for the convenience of the location. It's located in within a minute walk from Cocowalk and a lots of great restaurants. The unit itself was clean and efficient. We would rent this unit again.

This property makes wheelchair accessibility super easy. The elevator in parking garage takes to you directly up to the room. Very Convenient! Owners are great and accessible.

Just perfect!

I stayed during my son’s move into University of Miami. The neighborhood is safe and convenient to UM, dining and in- town shopping. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer was a nice upgrade from basic hotel rooms. Didn’t use the beautiful pool or fitness but I will next visit! Owner was very responsive and nice. Parking in this area can be tough so the free garage parking included with this property is key! This condo is my new go-to for visits to UM. I hope to be back soon.

Wonderful stay!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Catalina was very responsive to texts and emails. The place was very clean and comfortable. There were many restaurants within walking distance. We had to leave a day early and Catalina was so gracious to refund us for the day. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Miami.

Location great, condo in need of upkeep

The evening after check-in we noticed that the right side of the glass oven top was badly cracked and dented. I called the owner and she said she knew about that and was going to replace it in future. No apology for not notifying us however. When we were ready to put our dinner in the oven there was a large greasy stain at back of oven bottom. We again called the owner and she said she would send her own cleaning lady over that eve. We put our dinner on hold, and the cleaning lady came the next morning as was decided. There were inadequate cleaning products in the condo for the job to be thorough. Cleaning lady was cordial and efficient however Some kitchen pans were in need of cleaning, and others had burn spots on the bottom. There were no measuring cups or spoons in kitchen. Cork screw was broken. The rollers kept falling off the bottom rack of the dishwasher. There was no light over dining area, and inadequate lighting in the living area for evening reading. We replaced the bulb in the light ourselves. The ironing board cover was torn and stained. Neither iron worked, so I hastily ran to dry cleaners to have grandson's shirt and pants pressed for his graduation that afternoon. I notified the owner and she said she could get another iron to us a few hours later. There was not enough time for me to wait for her. The master bathroom exhaust fan was burned out , and upon inspection, it was heavily laden with dust. There was no general information about the hotel amenities in the condo.

Convenient to UMiami!

Catalina's condo was a great alternative to a regular hotel room. The included parking spot was a plus! The proximity to UMiami made it a good choice for commencement weekend. Catalina was quick to respond to my questions and was very flexible when I had a last minute need to shorten my stay by 1 night. I would definitely stay again.

Most enjoyable stay!

Most enjoyable! Staff friendly and helpful. Unit clean and met our needs. Appreciated free parking. Excellent location. One suggestion: perhaps include Kleenex and shampoo? We would definitely stay there again! Loved pool and restaurant!
