"Very friendly owners and staff, let us check in early as we was at a wedding near by. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Loved the coffee and tea in room and small snacks. Comfy bed, very nice and quiet, and the little white dog was adorable. Thank you 🤗"

"I have literally done hundreds of reviews over 15 years with Expedia and this hotel is absolutely a top 3 contender. This is the BEST English country Hotel I have stayed at. The premises, staff and meals are superb. Do NOT bypass this hotel and I would even plan a trip to purposely include a visit. Loved every moment of our stay. "

"Had a wonderful stay , when you arrive the hotel and views are amazing , a nice warm greeting from lovely receptionist, we stayed in the Queen room was beautiful & lovely views , dinner & Breakfast was so lovely , cooked with best ingredients makes a change to have such a lovely meal & service all the staff lovely , my only negative was didn’t have long another stay would have loved to stay another night was wonderful!!!!"

"You get what you pay for, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, the en-suite was a good size with a powerful shower.
The facilities offered were brilliant with the kitchen being very clean and neat.

"Le contact avant l'entrée des lieux n'a pas été bien clair. Toutefois, une fois sur place, le séjour s'est très bien passé, tout à fait dans mes attentes : endroit très propre, le nécessaire est dans la chambre. Lit confortable pour ma part.
Le lieu reste le moins cher sur Burnley.
J'y retournerais si je serais amené à le faire."

"Just a place to take a good weekend break from everything. It was our 2nd time. Only complaint was that it was too warm to sleep at night. They didn't have any electric fans for us. We will be back in winter next time."

"It was snowing when we arrived. The room was very cold because of no heating. I returned to reception, complained and the heating was connected, After a few hours the room heated up. At 2 am I woke up. The room was very cold and without heating. I called reception for more that 30 minutes but no one answered. In the morning I complained. The hotel answered that there was nothing that could be done. No shampoo in the room. I will not return. Not recommendable."

"Our first impresdion of the reception area was WOW. Beautiful venue with breathtaking grounds. Lovely sun terraces and fantastic restaurant with amazing food. Would recommend. We had an evening meal which was superb and Breakfast was great too. Spa area small but nice enough for a relaxing dip in the pool and steam room, sauna and very small gym but enough for me. My only disappointment was that our room was a club room and accessed via a path to an annexe which did not have the same WOW factor...

"Very happy with the price. Free upgrade from club room to suite was appreciated. Lovely large fuffy towels. Very comfy bed and pillows. Staff were all welcoming. Small gym, pool, steam room and sauna on site.
Minor draw back, bathroom door didnt shut properly and bath plug hole made gurgling noise even though we didnt use it."

"The house is nothing special but the bed was comfortable to sleep in and it was in the location we needed to visit family. The kitchen smelled like something was rotting, I think the bins hadn't been disposed of properly before we arrived. There also weren't any towels even though the advert says there will be. It's an okay place to stay as long as you're not expecting luxury."
