Remodeled 1940s home in downtown Mentone is non-smoking, pet-free, and a short walk to local shops and restaurants. It's also minutes from DeSoto Falls. The kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom features a king bed & sitting area; the second bedroom has a queen, and the living room offers a pullout couch. Relax on the front porch swing; soak in the freshly cleaned hot tub; or gather around the fire pit. Hiking, waterfalls, golf, and horseback riding are all nearby.

The cottage could not be more adorable. Every possible convenience has been thought of. The host was quick to respond when we had trouble with the Wi-Fi.My only concern is that the listing said it was "walking distance to downtown Mentone" Though the distance is not far, it is not walkable either. It is on the main 55mph highway that goes through town with no sidewalks and a steep drop-off from the road. There is constant highway noise inside the cottage.

Very nicely renovated cabin right in Mentone. We loved the decor and it was well stocked with all your needs for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed walking to the Mentone Market and to dinner at Elevation Bistro. We would definitely recommend staying there and will hopefully be back one day. Thank you Nathan!

This Mentone Cottage is the perfect cottage for a couple or 2-4 close friends. It is beautifully decorated, so cozy and inviting. Each room is fully stocked to meet your needs and make you comfortable. The location is great in the heart of Mentone.

Loved everything about this cottage!

Great location! Extremely comfortable beds and linens. Great shower! Relaxing, private hot tub. Loved everything about this cottage, but my favorite thing was relaxing on the front porch! Just perfect for coffee and reading in the morning, or winding down at the end of the day.

Wonderful Cottage

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Nathan and Stacy's cottage so much! It was clean, beautifully decorated and in a super convenient location. Nathan and Stacy were easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends!

20th Wedding Anniversary

I can't even begin to describe how amazing the owners were from the moment we booked to the time we arrived. It was exactly as advertised and an absolute charm. Everything was so clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It felt like I was staying at home. Mentone is truly a gem tucked away in the hills. The charming shops and mom-and-pop restaurants in downtown Mentone were our favorites. We met so many kind people. We can't believe it took us so long to visit, but we will certainly be back. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Lovely cottage so close yet so far away

This is the perfect location for a NE AL mountain retreat. You get away from it all, but you are in walking distance to Mentone amenities. The cottage itself is so lovely and charming - the most important thing is function of course but the fashion is the cherry on top. Decorations and style were A. The hot tub make this experience 1000x better. We will definitely be back! We visited DeSoto Falls, Little River Canyon, and Little River Falls, but there is so much more to do in reasonable driving distances!
