"We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,...

"Spotless bar, restaurant and room, with very friendly and helpful staff, plus great views of the river and quiet location within a short walk into the centre of Chester. The walk into Chester may not be suitable for some people however as it is quite a steep walk from the river, but there are nice walks along the river."

"We stayed in Apartment 4 and it’s just a great 2 bed apartment with a nice lounge, great kitchen, both beds had en-suites plus another bathroom. Could not recommend higher to use them, they have 3 or 4 I believe. My son and his girlfriend stayed in the Hotel itself and also said it great. 100% recommend both if your coming to Chester for a weekend anyway. Chest is also just great place, ace shops, good bars and loads of cool restaurants "

"Staff were lovely throughout. No problems at all with the Hotel and it is really, really convenient for seeing Chester - our first time of visiting and we really enjoyed it. Used the train to get there and Uber to get around and it was all so easy. Would certainly like to go to Chester again and would definitely use the same hotel. PS Go to Chez Jules for a nice evening out."

"We had another wonderful stay for a birthday trip. Room was clean and spacious, and the bed was so comfortable! (superior room). Had a nice drink in the bar last night too. They kindly stored our bags for us for a few hours after we checked out, as we wanted to go back into the city before our train home. We will definitely be back! "
