"We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is perfectly located. Checa in was smooth and our room was as pictured. The staff could have been a bit friendlier but there were no specific issues. We had breakfast twice and it was a standard European breakfast. Our room faced the canal and the busy tram stop and it was a bit noisy late at night. Overall a nice place to land in Amsterdam."

"This hotel is a feast for the eyes! I love this place for the beautiful fabrics and decoration throughout. My husband loves the coffee room so he can get a latte and cake/cookies. Such a special treat. My only disappointment is that the bar no longer has frites (French fries) on the menu. My memory was they were the best I have ever had any where in the world! I also wish it were a little more affordable. It is certainly a splurge but well worth it. I love the location as well."

"Just a wonderful hotel in a great location. The rooms were very nice, especially for being converted canal houses. Very unique. Great bars, great staff. Could rent nice bikes for 20 Euro for 24 hours which was very convenient. The breakfast was not worth the spend in my opinion and I would not recommend paying the $40 Euro per person for it. Great breakfast choices within 3-5 min easy walk. We walked from central station to the hotel and it takes about 15-20 min but a nice walk with rolling...

"First - let's acknowledge the "Cozy" double is small. There's barely enough room to walk around the bed. There are two folding chairs provided but I'm not exactly sure where you're supposed to be able to set them up. (I used them to hold my suitcase because there's really nowhere else to put it). But - other things matter a lot more to me than room size: cleanliness, sleepability, breakfast, staff, cost and most importantly, location. Hotel Fita excelled at all of these. Although the room...
