"This is such a sweet gem of a cottage tucked into a quiet and safe neighborhood. I was in Newberg for a long weekend class and my husband was with me. This location was only a few minutes drive for me and was a perfect central spot for my husband to drive out for beautiful hikes. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking light meals and the bottle of Pinot Noir from the owner was a lovely touch. We will definitely stay here again if we return."

"We had a perfect stay at White Walnut Estate. The property and view over the vineyard were incredible. It was very peaceful and private, but the location was also convenient to wineries and dinner. This is a great property if looking for a quite retreat with your significant other."

"It was a solo trip and I enjoyed all the extra touches that the cottage provided. I was able to relax, feel safe and the surrounding area was beautiful. Even the mornings I had to work I didn’t mind because the cottage was so cute. There is hiking close by that the host pointed out that I appreciated. I would definitely like to come back!"

"What a lovely little cottage, beautifully landscaped yard, clean and nicely decorated. They thought of everything and had lots of great extras like multiple coffee choices and a very cool AC setup cleverly concealed behind a painting when not in use. I’d stay here again just for a quiet getaway."

"A very tranquil and relaxing setting just a few miles from downtown. The owners were very nice and all the little touches like fresh baked cookies was welcoming. It was very comfortable and homey, which is what my wife wanted. There is no TV or closet per se for clothes so if you really want to unwind this is a good place to do it."

"We were visiting for a family funeral. This location was beautiful and secluded and gave us the peace we needed to get through a sad time. We loved seeing the wildlife outside the windows and the sound of the creek behind the house. I would love to come back during the summer for a vacation."

"We had a great time at this place! This was our first girls trip with my baby daughter being added to my mom and I’s trips. The area is great and we enjoyed some relaxing time sipping wine! My only complaint is one of the beds was very squeaky and I only noticed it because of trying to get a new baby to sleep. Thank you!"

"This was our annual family adventure, we had 11 of us staying and there was enough room for everyone. The house was a bit quirky, but still very comfortable. Loved that there was a bathroom in each room. My two suggestions would be to have at least one large pot (we needed it for pasta). When you have a house that can hold a large crowd, it would be good to have a few larger cooking items. Also, you might purchase some napkins as we ended up using a lot of the paper towels at each meal. Also, we...
